Adelaide Crows 2007 Review

I reckon Carlton will contend for top 8 this year they just look a new transformed side.

hey any of you guys think we got a chance against the Dogs at the 'G on Sunday i picked us to win but that was only thinking withe my heart and good to see Basset getting of suspension :D

I think we can, we just need to play alot smarter then what we did against the Bombers. I will be down at that match

Well our task has just got a little bit harder with 'the Birdman' in doubt :noway:

ADELAIDE appears likely to be without livewire forward Brett Burton for its round two meeting with the Western Bulldogs after he pulled up sore with a knee sprain.

yet another injury probably due to our tough training regime that Craig's got in

How do you think they will go today against the Bullies. Was going to go down today at the MCG to watch the game, but i went yesterday to see the Swans and the Tigers, but the Crows will be interesting to see how the tackle the speed of the Bullies.

dogs arent great at the G, somehow I think the crows will lift and win.

Anyone see the pies match last night? thought we (collingwood) were a little hard done by from the umps pretty much all night! Im happy only losing by 12 though, good signs of our determination when things don't go our way

but anyway! my tip: adelaide by 15

Hopefull the boys can get up over the Dogs today. And Port is losing at the moment. You Beauty!!! :happy

well great win for us against the Dogs even without key players we stood up & played some brilliant Footy, McLeod played brilliant and so did our second tear players like Van Berlo, Knights and Bock :D. Just a pity we let the dogs get some cheap goals in the end so we didn't get a lot of %

Finally our tall forwards got some of the ball and kicked a bag of goals. Both Welsh and Bock kicked 4 goals each, Stevens Booted 3 and Perrie kicked 2. A good spread of goals from our big men. Was good to see.

Andrew McLeod and Basset best of field. McLeod was outstanding.

I am watching the reply now. Because i didnt watch it last night as i was out for Easter. But Edwards was brilliant through the midfield. He is the most underatted player in the compettion. McLeod was good down back. And Van Berlo (God) had a great game. Signs looking good after yesterday

Chris Knights aswell gave us alot of run down the corridor.

And considering we didnt have both Ricciuto or Hentschel our leading goal kickers from last year, we scored a massive score with our "second teir" forwards so to speak

Welsh is the key to us this year. He has the straightest kick and he is the source to alot of our goals.

Best sign i rekon would be Nathan Bock. Has kicked 7 goals in the opening 2 matches so far of the year. Would be in the top 5 goal kickers this year so far considering how the Dees and Hawks match turns out. I remeber just 2 years ago he was used as our main Centre Half Back and himself and Rutten were one of the best Full Back , Centre Half Back combination in the league. But he has matured heaps along with Scott Stevens and now both find themselves playing forward and kicking big bag of goals.

I remeber also, just middle of last year everyone was talking about trading Scott Stevens as he wasnt doing anything for the club. But has turned it around late last year and is now in his best form of his career.
