I've got the Gold Edition. Its awesome. I remember playing it for 3-4 hours at a stretch. I can vividly remember the first time I won, killed the king with a cannon ball (off a ship) on his head.

Just checked and I have both AOE1 and AOE2 installed on my computer.
Was I the only one that thought the campaigns were better on the first one? And Tom said earlier in the thread about black forest, regicide being his favourite. He has taste! I might play online with you at the weekend, Kshitiz if I get the time.

LOL the game has arrived. They mucked up though. They charged me ?5 and sent me the Age of Empires collectors edition as well as the Gold Edition. Not going to say anything

Register, download their client, login, and start playing. Beware though, 0 gamer's aren't treated very well, you'll have to find your way in to some little games.

The mappack is on the main page, International Gaming Zones | Matchmaking for Gaming!
Should be fairly easy to locate.
After you have registered, download the IGZ client, and then get something called AOE registry fix IGZ. Then you can login into IGZ and join games from there, and then the host would start his game and yours would open and setup automatically.
