So it will be a 4 person draft and the 4 members are (Dare, WestIndian, King Pietersen and Howsie). Only having 4 members in the draft ensures that the teams will be strong and competitive.
No time limits but please keep checking in as often as possible and I will try to get the thread title changed so the members know who's turn it is.
I will keep this post updated so everyone knows who has already been selected.
Good luck.

Sir Garry Sobers

Probably the best cricketer the West Indies have produced, Sobers was an excellent batsmen, a very good bowler, and a great fielder. His batting would get him into anybody’s all-time world XI side and his bowling was very good also, he was able to bowl both finger/wrist spin and swing bowling as good as anybody in his team. I've seen some of his close in fielding and he was just amazing, his reaction time was brillant.

Not much doubt in that pick.

Sir Viv Richards

A legend of West Indies cricket and one of the best batsman of all time. Known around the world for his aggressive batting style and never wearing a helmet even when facing some of the fastest bowlers of all time. One of the best #3 batsman he averaged 61.54 at #3 and scored 12 of his 24 centuries at that position. Gives me a real gun at the top of the order.

Can anyone post here?

No !! what're you posting here for !!

Anyway why only 4 people? Surely half the fun is having to pick someone like Tino Best at the end because everyone else has gone.

this isn't fair, I would have done this considering an all time scotland draft is unlikely to be very interesting considering we have no test players ever. when did you pick the people.

Yea, as long as its regarding the thread.

Because I dont want people picking Tino Best, he sucks major. Each one of us will probably end up with one of the all time great pace bowlers, some with 2 and the rest will have to be creative.
I want the teams to be competitive.

I just said I might do one in the India draft thread and Howsie asked if I start one can he be in it and then I just asked KP and Rabs if they want in on it.

And people please don't mention names of players that haven't been taken yet.

This'll be really interesting. Howsie just got lucky for having the first pick though.

I think you could go deep as round 3 without having to pick anything less than a legend.

most all time west indian XIs I've seen compiled end in disappointment certain players have to be left out.

Someone needs to tell Rabs to pull his finger out and make his pick! :p I wanna make mine, just hoping he picks who I think he will. I know who I want for my first 2, so fingers crossed they'll stay free =]

Pick: Malcolm Marshall

Explanation: One of the great bowlers of all-time, and in my eyes, the greatest fast bowler that ever lived. He was a member of the famous pace quartet that dominated world cricket, and boasts a superb Test record. He took 376 Test wickets at an average of 20.94 at a strike rate of 46.7 with 22 5 wicket hauls. An easy pick as far as I'm concerned.
