Anyone ever been hit by the ball?

I fell asleep once in a one-sided encounter and my chair got hit

Took me by surprise, waking me up... I was so alert for the rest of the game bc I feared getting hit

once i took the rescue of playing against fast bowlers with no protection
and i got hit the first ball on my nose and a flood of blood came.

T007, playing quicks without a helmet is brutal, never done it in game, sorry i lie, i got mixed up with a bowling change and waved away my helmet, big mistake!

I do it in training, and just wear a cap, and ive top edged many a ball into my nose, eye, jaw etc.
