Anyone having trouble with Resume button

In between overs i press the joystick button once and it comes to the resume screen. I have to take my hand off the joystick and press the resume button with my mouse. in 2004 you could just keep pressing joystick button to goto next over. Is this a fault with the game or just my machine or steup. I have used a number of joysticks and usb gamepads and prob the same with all.

No its the game, its not gamepad compatible so you have to do everything by mouse. Such a pain in the arse... :brickwall
