England announce One Day Schedule
England have announced their One Day schedule prior to the World Cup in February of 2015 in Australia and New Zealand. After defeat to Sri Lanka in the One Day series and also the T20 series, Peter Moores is looking forward to the One Day schedule leading up to the World Cup in 2015 down under. England have struggled setting a base or a template for the teams for both one day formats. England have 5 One Day Internationals against India after a successful Test series win, they then will travel to Sri Lanka to play 7 ODIs and then at the end of the year they travel down under to Australia for a Tri Series against India and Australia.

One Day Schedule:

25th August - England vs India (1st ODI)
27th August - England vs India (2nd ODI)
30th August - England vs India (3rd ODI)
2nd September - England vs India (4th ODI)
5th September - England vs India (5th ODI)
7th September - England vs India (Only T20)

26th November - Sri Lanka vs England (1st ODI)
29th November - Sri Lanka vs England (2nd ODI)
3rd December - Sri Lanka vs England (3rd ODI)
6th December - Sri Lanka vs England (4th ODI)
10th December - Sri Lanka vs England (5th ODI)
13th December - Sri Lanka vs England (6th ODI)
16th December - Sri Lanka vs England (7th ODI)

18th Jan 2015 - Australia vs England (2nd Match)
20th Jan 2015 - England vs India (3rd Match)
23rd Jan 2015 - England vs Australia (4th Match)
30th Jan 2015 - India vs England (7th Match)​

February to March 2015 - World Cup (Australia & New Zealand)​

The England selectors have a very difficult decision to make before choosing a provisional 20 man squad to take to the World Cup next year. Since the Pro40 competition has changed to the Royal London One Day Cup, which sees the new competition have 50 overs. There have been a number of impressive performances from players which allows them to show there talent in a 50 over game. James Vince, Alex Hales and James Taylor have been given a mention after impressive performances for the England Lions and also there County team.
