Ricky Ponting Sounded confident about his teams chances of deending the title this Ashes against England in their own backyard.

On the press conferernce made by Australa cricket board prior to the teams departure to England. Ponting's talk is summarized below

" Ya we r definitely confident that we will retain the Ashes and this English is certainly the best that I have seen, we r really hoping this time around this will be a great series, on teams constituent i am happy that we have a balanced side and our seames r all fit and raring to go."

Well both Sky Sports and Channel Nine are the only source to view the Ashes Premiere this time with Channel Nine covering Australia, and Sub Continent.

Sky Sports has the largest bid for the series and they cover the event and is shown Live on almost all other cricket Playing nations.

Sky Sports are also showing this Ashes Live in Planetcricket as well.

 
Well Sky Sports have annouced their Commentators for this Ashes and they Include Ian Botham, David Gower,Naser Hussian,Bob Willis.


An Australian as also been included to represent Channel nine in Sky and it is none other than former AUS Captain Mark Taylor.

Australian Squad Leaves for England:


Well the Australian squad left for England this morning and will Land on Lords and have some practice there before they begin their tour with a warm match .
