Media Conference after Arriving in England

Australia's Captain and coach were invited for the press conference arrnged by the ECB ahead of the tour starter against Leicstshire.

Here r the views of both the captain and Coach of Australian Cricket Team

Ricky Ponting: " Well we would love to start the tour on a great note, not going to experiment with anything and would be looking to give all seniors a go in the very first match so that everybody is in fibne shape for the rest of the tour, This going to be a ODI against Leceistshire we would try to try some of our tricks for the upcoming Natwest Series."

John Buchanan " Well this should be a great series Eng are playing well dominating the Ban in the test series we dont want to underestimate anybody, so we wil go at full force here"

Excellent presentation and build up. Even better than the real Ashes mate, keep it up.

Quite disappointed with the tight lipped commentary team Sky's got. I would be muting the audio if I were watching Ashes. I just hope they add Boycs, Lawry and even to add to some arse kicking from Boycs throw in D.Reeve.

Warne says no surprises this time!

Shane Warne has launched a surprise Ashes tactic by deciding against a new mystery ball,"I know people would like me to say I'm keeping a new variation up my sleeve for the Ashes, but there is nothing at the moment," he told AFP

Warne, who memorably opened his 1993 tour with the "ball of the century" to Mike Gatting, said the Ashes series, which begins in July, was the most anticipated since he started playing. "In four years when Australia next come to England there will be only three or four of the present players in the side," he said. "This is definitely my last series because I will be pushing 40 next time around."

Seeing all this we have to wait for the start of the tour opener see whether we have anything in store from the great leggie
