Warm Up Match 1

England has won the toss for the 1st warm-up match against Australia, England has elected to bat first.

Don Bradman: The pitch is hard which will make it a great batting pitch for the opening batsman, Marcus Trescothick and Andrew Strauss.
Brett Lee is the opening bowler for Australia.

Commentator 2: Brett Lee is the opening bowler for Australia, no runs come off his first over. Shaun Tait is replacing McGrath due to McGrath's wife suffering from breast cancer. Shaun Tait's first over goes for double figures. Strauss hit 1 six and a 4 in Tait's first over.

Unlucky

In Brett Lee's next over it was another maiden, and in Shaun Taits next over to make up for his previous over he created a chance for a catch but somehow got away. It could have been a missed chance, or a risky 4 but one thing for sure is that the slip fielder had very late reactions.

10 Overs

Shaun Tait was absolutely smashed. He was hit for a six. Several times in his 5 Over spell, he also had a very bad No-Ball problem contributing 10 extras to England. Brett Lee was great very economical. 4 maidens out of 5 overs. Nathan Bracken will be the next bowler with Brad Hogg.

Its 0-33 after 10 overs.

Bracken and Hogg's Spell

Bracken and Hogg have been sent into the attack. So far things aren't going too well, Strauss and Trescothick are bit edgy, in a good way.

Nothing is really happening but great batting and solid defence. Bracken and Hogg are getting hammered. Even with fielding restrictions raised nothing much is happening.
