Ashes Edition 2006

Hi all.

Read these forums quite a bit but never actually posted. So apologies if this has been asked before.

I play the 2006 version, love it and was wondering whether anyone had cracked a player editor yet. I note theres an unofficial one for 08, and 09 still has no editor : but thought i'd ask.

I've searched the net but to no avail.

Any help appreciated

Well Fe's the programmer who did the other ones; I helped him with finding the offsets. But I don't have the Ashes version.

I'm looking for an editor for ICC 2006 : Ashes edition as well. But no luck so far. None of the other editors works for icc2006ashes !

Has anyone used an editor for icc 2006 : Ashes? If yes, please share link.

There wasn't an editor made for that edition as far as I'm aware. Sorry.

Was just the old artmonmey + hex editing. That's all we had

Just found this on my hard drive - see attached.

1. Open ICC06 and load a game
2. Get player's date of birth, CTRL-ALT-DEL out of program to desktop
3. Run editor and enter date
4. Modify data and hit save. It may say there's been an error but hit OK because certain data will have been saved (see below)

Not sure who to credit for this, but I think it might have been in a beta version when I downloaded it as there seem to be problems editing the bowling data. Try it at different times of the season to see if that works, but batting skill and contracts can certainly be modified. I know this because I just tried it on 2006 Ashes Edition

I think that one is the same as the later ones but works because some of the hex entries are in the same position for the earlier games as the later ones
