Rules of the Tournament
Cricket 2004 is the only game should be used to play in this online tournament. All default files must be used that came with Cricket 2004. But, all player need to download Tusti's AI Patch Ver 6 (from Downloads/AI Patches). That is the only patch to be used in the tournament. (you also need Cricket 2004 Cfg Editor to import the patch)

Asia Cup Tournament
This tournament will consist of 4 teams. Each team will play 3 matches with each other. The two top teams will qualify for final.

Teams
You want Prakash's Line Up Editor V4 to do this. (download it from Downloads section)
All the participants create their team file (.lst file) consists of 11 players and upload it to the Asia Cup 2004 thread.
The all teams import all these .lst files in to Line Up Editor V4.
Important: When you are uploading a team .lst file first select the that team you want to replace.
Eg: you want to import Bangladesh team file to replace the current Bangladesh line up. first Select Bangladesh in the Line Up Editor and then press Import button, then import Bangladesh list. See the screenshot below.

Fixtures
See the Asia Cup 2004 thread to see when the matches are to be played.
Participants are responsible to check the fixture section to see when their matches are to be played.

i'll_post that who won the toss, venue, pitch type, weather conditions under under the match thread (eg. Thread : Asia Cup Match 1 -Ban. Vs. Pak)
Team winning the toss must post his choice whether he is batting or bowling and post it 2 day before the match (under the match thread)

Match
All matches are played on HARD LEVEL and it is a 20 Over Match
All matches are played friendly and enables both participant to bat. The Savtweaker (download it from download section) utility will be needed to enable the team batting second to take control of their team.
All the deadline must be met for tournament to progress. Matches not meeting the deadlines will be awarded to the participant.

Batting 1st
The team who is batting first must create the match as outlined in fixture section. (venue, pitch type, and overs)
The team file must be use which can be downloaded from this site.
The structure of the tournament is dependent on HONESTY. When playing your inning you should not reload or save games due to losing some early wickets or scoring low figures.
Please play fairly.
The player batting first play out his inning. Once your inning has completed, you will have to take a screenshot of your inning match summary, scorecard, bowling figures and batting figures and post them under the match thread. Then you have to save the game and also post the Save Game file. (eg: if you saved the match under slot1, upload the file x:/my documents/ea sports/cricket 2004/user-xxx/user01.sav)

Batting 2nd
Player 2 must load the save game file in to (x:/my documents/ea sports/cricket 2004/user-xxx) folder. then swap the controlling team from SavTweaker and load the game.
After completion of the match Player 2 should provide the screenshot of your inning match summary, scorecard, bowling figures and batting figures and post them under the match thread.
Download fraps from www.fraps.com to get screenshots.

Points
_Win: 4 points
Tie: 2 points
Loss: 0 point
Bonus: 1 point*
* If team batting 1st win and if team batting 2nd score is under 4/5 from the team batting 1st - team batting 1st will awarded a bonus point.
If team batting 2nd win and if they scored the target before 16 overs - team batting 2nd will awarded a bonus point
In the event of teams finishing on equal points, the right to play in the final will be determined as follows:
the team with the most number of wins
the team with the most number of wins over the other team(s)
the team with the highest net run rate

Net Run Rate (NRR)
Net run rate has become the preferred method of breaking ties in multi-team one day international tournaments. It is often misunderstood, but really quite simple to understand.
Number of runs scored divided by number of overs. If team loses all 10 wickets, then the number of runs scored is divided by the maximum number of overs possible for that innings.
For team 1: team 1 run rate minus team 2 run rate
For team 2: team 2 run rate minus team 1 run rate
Example:
Team 1 bats first and scores 200 for 9 wickets after 20 overs
Team 2 batting second scores 120 for 10 wickets after 15 overs.
Team 1 run rate = 200 / 20 = 10
Team 2 run rate = 120 / 20 = 6
Team 1 net run rate: 10 ? 6 = 4
Team 2 net run rate: 6 ? 10 = -4

Void Matches
As outlined in above sections, players must announce who's batting first , submit save game file, their inning scorecard and match summary by certain dates . Failure to do so get a NRR of -1 and opposition team will awarded a NRR of +1.

Please, Download Config Editor Version 2 to Import the Tusti's AI Patch Ver. 6

friend 50 overs is not wasting time because there should e one week for one innings as in world cup so in one week each can play easily

One week for an inning is a also wasting time, so we give 4 days for an inning. and i think the match should play as 20 overs.
