I've heard that Fishing Rods are perfect for playing against quality spin :p

In terms of pace bowling, Lee and Clark.

Spin obviously is Murali and Mendis (Though not many other teams use two spinners).

All time, McGrath and Warne.

I think its bit too early to judge Mendis. I mean he has played what 3 games so far and all of them against India. No doubt he is a freak but we don't know how he would go against a team like Australia or away from home in bouncy pitches and etc.

Only 3 tests? And people are rating them ahead of Lee and Clark? Seriously, you can't possibly compare a pair who've been together for three games (all against the same team too) with two who have been bowling well for the past 3-4 years.

We will see that Shubh, but I don't we will be able to watch Australia v SL (Mendis v Australia) anytime soon...

Well, it also depends on the form of the game, and what they are trying to do.

Murali and Mendis and Lee and Clark are both great partnerships with the ball. One is a spin combination, one a pace. Both are capable of playing in Tests on ODI's, both are capable of taking wickets.

I'm not going to vote on this, because I can't split 'em!

Guys I say this finally Murali and Mendis are not at all Lethal to Australia

No need to say it a final time. We heard you the first time, Mrs. Ponting.

As for Mendis having played only 3 tests, it's a gut feeling. It's a gut feeling that Mendis-Murali will go on to be greater than Lee-Clark over the next 3 years (since that's how long Murali will probably stay in the game).

You never know with spinners. Kumble is almost 39 and is still playing. Warne is almost 40 and still wants to comeback. I would'nt be surprised if he plays for 5 more years as he is fitter than Warne or Kumble.

I know this is a little off topic, but back in the day Srinath and Kumble were a fantastic duo.
