Best Difficulty level for Realistic Play.

I'm sorry but, as fantastic cricketer as he was, who was the bright spark who thought it was a good idea to put Warne in the commentary box? (both IRL & in-game)

Alot of you are complaining about how the AI sucks and how easy this game is.. Well I currently suck at it and I've had enough!

I was pretty good at Lara 2005/7, I rocked at the arcade fest that was EA Cricket 07 (even with patches) but I am finding 09 quite tough.

I was playing as SA against Zimbabwe on a 10 over ODI and they elected to bat first, so I get in there and by the time 10 overs are done, they whacked a great 115 runs with 4 wickets (so yeah my bowling isn't that bad..)

I get in to bat, attempt to do a back/front foot combos with loft and attack and I am all out for like 20!

Any tips for us suckers? Yes I did the tutorial and all Warne did was give me tips on how to flirt with young nurses behind the wife's back.

One word: patience. I see none of that in the bolded part of the post.

Normal is the best mode to play on. What I think so far is that the hard more is off balance.
Easy = more on batting(easy perfect shots when you bat) and easy bowling.
Normal = neutral batting and neutral bowling. (I manage to hit couple of fours and sixes, sometimes alot and sometimes just couple). I score big totals or sometimes under 100 or 80 and all out. In bowling, I get atleast 3 LBWs, atleast 2 bowled, and couple catches and just 1 or 2 runouts.
Hard = neutral batting but really hard bowling. (I batted on hard and scored over 400 runs with 6 outs but when I bowled, I managed to get only 1 wicked and the AI was on 378)

It is much much better to play on normal. Trust me, you will get much better gameplay than hard or easy mode.

I would agree with you there on Hard I can still push up to 400 althoug having said that there have been incidents where I've been all out for 150, but the bowling gets too difficult, managable after a while but you've gotta have a lot of patience.

Personally I find Normal too easy batting wise and easy enough bowling hence I only play on hard and hope with the bowling that practice makes perfect.

If only one of our brilliant patchers would be able to crack the save-game format. Maybe we could then play each innings under different difficulty levels.
