There is already a discussion thread on best pace bowling attack so I though why not a thread on best spin bowling attack going into CWC 2011 as it is going to be played on spin friendly pitches.

India

Harbhajan Singh (main spinner), Piyush Chawla (Regular spinner), Ravichandran Ashwin (Regular spinner), Virender Sehwag (part-time spinner), Yusuf Pathan (part-time spinner), Suresh Raina (part-time spinner), Yuvraj Singh (part-time spinner).

Pakistan
Saeed Ajmal (main spinner), Abdur Rehman (Regular spinner), Shahid Afridi (Regular spinner), Mohammad Hafeez (part-time spinner).

Srilanka

Tillakaratne Dilshan (part-time spinner)Rangana Herath (Regular spinner), Ajantha Mendis (Regular spinner), Muttiah Muralitharan (main spinner).

South Africa
Robin Peterson (part-time spinner), Imran Tahir (main spinner), Johan Botha (Regular spinner).

Australia
Nathan Hauritz (main spinner), David Hussey (part-time spinner), Steven Smith (Regular spinner).

Newzealand
Nathan McCullum (Regular spinner), Luke Woodcock (Regular spinner), Daniel Vettori (main spinner).

England
Graeme Swann (main spinner), Michael Yardy (Regular spinner).

If Randiv had been in Sri Lankan squad, I'd have loved their spin attack. But even then I think their attack is one of the strongest.

Viu won't bowl for India. Hasn't done so for a while.

I want to vote Bangladesh. Shuvo/Shakib/Razzaq + Naeem/Ash/Mahmadullah for support. Extremely tricky.

Sehwag won't be bowling for sure. He still has some problems with his shoulder and it wouldn't be wise to ask him to have a go with the ball in such a case.
Sachin may just bowl a little (if he isn't banned :p), but the chances are pretty slim.

Sri Lanka possibly has the best bowling attack. They have Malinga and Kulasekara for pace and Murali, Mendis and Herath for spin, pretty strong IMO.
Their spin attack looks perfect and that's what makes them extremely lethal with the ball.

I Would Say Srilanka And England Have Best Spin Bowling attack

Are you high or something??? Swann might be the best spinner around but we are talking about complete spin bowling attack. Sri Lanka was a good choice but Swann's deputy Yardy is not even worth mentioning. He's just another pie chucker.

IMO Best spin attack is SL>Ind>Bang>Pak>Eng

Has to be SRL. Their spinners pick up wickets at the right times and aids in breaking partnerships too.

Don't you think Pietersen might bowl a few overs, especially on the Spin-Friendly pitches of the sub-continent.

Bangladesh are the best for me. Sri Lankans just have Murali. Mendis will be smacked. I'm keen to see Imran Tahir with all the hype around him.

India india.:D

Woud love to see Ravi boy doing the work with turbanator. Indian part timers are also good.

On a more realistic note, the Irish have a better spin attack than any of the Test nations put together. :p

They have the youngest spinners. :D

Its gonna be hard to choose the best spin attack. A lot depends upon the pitch condition and the opposition a well. It will be quite clear once the WC gets underway.

Bangladesh for me, to go with Razzaq and Al Hasan they have another couple of spinners in their starting lineup who can help out. Zimbabwe are similar they have Price and Utseya as their main spinners with a couple of others to help out.

SL have their depth but they can't play all 3 of their spinners since they don't fill an all rounder spot like some of the other teams. India could potentially have 5 spinners every match depending on who they pick in the batting and if Sehwag bowls.
