BLC patch - what is it for and how to install

Hi,
I was wondering that there was a seperate patch in the game cd i got from sports gifiting. I dont know what is it for?
And when i install it I get problems with recognition of the cd.
can any one help?

Are you talking about the official Codemasters Patch.?

Anyhow you need that patch other wise wides
aren't called. Forget what else it fixed.

sachida the official patch changed the EXE files for the game..........so it will work only with the Original CD.......ur Cd might be writtern or not original .............so the serial no . lines in the exe files don't link to the CD u have

Yep, it will not work if you do not have the original as it has a SecuRom protection on it.

You will have to get a crack to get it working.

Try Megagames or GameCopyWorld for that.

Thanks for suggestions but I have THE ORIGINAL CD. And this patch is also on the same cd. Then why there should be a problem.
And my interest is to improve the game anyhow. So i will try other things suggested.

no u can;t do that........coz the !% over restictions will not be enabled coz its changed using the exe files so if u put a crack u will not those features so that feature is gone if u don't the original CD

I am not sure what you are trying to say.
It is not clear.
Can you please explain??
Undertaker for securom you just run (first unzip and then click on exe file) then it will open a gray box saying that secorom is active but beware dont hit ok to that as soon as you hit ok the protection is reactivated.
Till you keep on that box on your cd protection is not working. So you can copy the cd material or make bakeup cd.
so thats the trick.

i was trying to say that ......the exe files actually reponsible for the 15 over field restriction, and the Wide balls ..........those all are changed with the exe files so if u want them u got to have the original CD ..........

Hi everyone,
I got the point that the patch will not work if I dont have the original CD. I DO HAVE THE ORIGUNAL CD. but still it is not working. After i execute the patch file from the original CD and start the game, it doesnt start and shows the error messege that there is no blc cd on drive.
Awaiting clear explanation and solution
