The weather will be quite cold, it's winter when you're going. Last year we got down to -10 degrees culcius I think.

Oh, and it's bloody miles away from London. Something like a six hour trip.

-10 !!! thats too less...i'll freeze to death coming from 40 to -10 thats a BIG change of climate!!!

i hope its not THAT cold...

how can we commute to london???

There's a London line which goes through Bradford I think, I doubt it'll get as low as -10, it'll be cold though so pack up for severe cold weather.

yes train system

leeds is a fairly big city, less than 1 hour away

manchester is bug aswell, around an hour away

Liverpool is fairly big aswell, about 2-3 hours away

i have family in huddersfiield, which is a smaller town that is quite, it snows heavily most years

great!!! leeds is a pretty good place, and only about an hour away...

does bradford have an airport? or leeds?
As far as I know Bradford has an airport.

Bradfords and Leeds share and airport :p

Bradford is basically like any big town or city, its quite lively with a rubbish Super League team (Rugby League :p) Yes the winters can be quite harsh in winter so wrap up warm.....

The life around Bradford is lively and i find it to be a very nice and helpful(if you get lost, like i do every time i leave my home town).

There are alot of bars/cafes/pubs/restaurants etc. to keep you occupied when your not studying. The university seems to be quite good, have you taken a look at its website? If not, google it and take a look.

Yeah Bradford is a great place as most of the UK's big northern cities are around it such as Manchester, Liverpool and i suppose Preston :p

The shops are just usual to other big towns and cities with main national chains such as JJB and JD Sports

well...nice to know that... another thing, how are the people in bradford?
Smelly and horrible. :D

Living about 200 miles away, I don't know mate.

I actually hate Bradford. Some parts of it are good, like the leisure centre in it. But for the most part it's a ghetto. On the other hand, Leeds is much better!
