also, i'd like to know whether my mobile phone would work there or not... (currently in india, NOKIA 6100) and i have a CDMA phone (NOKIA 6265), dunno if it will work there or not... though i'm pretty sure 6100 wud work...

I actually hate Bradford. Some parts of it are good, like the leisure centre in it. But for the most part it's a ghetto. On the other hand, Leeds is much better!

you must be living near bradford (according to what i have gathered... bradford is part of west yorkshire, or is somehow related).

leeds is indeed a very good place to live in...

Yeah your phones should work...Maybe you will need a new Sim Card, but i doubt it.

Yes there will be electronic stores in Bradford, You will see them all over the town when you get there. Yeah there is an Argos.

The main banks in Bradford (and England) are HSBC, Lloyds TSB, Natwest, and a couple of others.

Leeds is quite nice (it hurts me to say this, but its still not as nice as Manchester!!!). However, not really sure how Bradford compares. Send a pm to Briggsey, he lives in that hole in the ground.

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about what its like really as you're only there for 4 weeks. Just enjoy the time and make the most of the opportunity. I am sure you will have lots to tell your friends and family back home once your time in England comes to a close.

London is bloody miles away from Bradford, I wouldn't bother!
