Bring back Mohammad Sami

he is a OK ODI bowler but absolutely the worst bowler playing test cricket at the moment.
it doesnt matter if he has talent or not, he has been playing test cricket for about 5 years now and apart from his 1st match he sucked in all the other ones.
average of over 50 and a strike rate of 86 and that on its own should be enough for him to be droped from the squad, than we have the lack of confidence and courage and those 3 facts should be enough for him to be replaced for the 3rd test and never play test cricket for Pakistan again.

All he had going for him when he started his international carrier was his pace, he was among the top 5 quickest bolwers even deliverd a ball at 97 mph and now he doesnt even have that. Add the lack of swing and seam movement and you have a bowler who is not capable of taking wickets.

I am sorry, I do not agree.

Okay, are you going to tell us why? Because your argument is hardly convincing if you keep repeating yourself without raising any valid points.

i still think he is not "crap"..

USY BHAI admit it the guy has lost it. If Pakistan is seriously looking to win next match they need other bowler maybe Arafat or Rehman.

:noway... if he was crap, he would haver never made it to the test side, i agree Pakistan can produce far better then him, and already has (Wasim, Imran etc). I dis agree of him being "crap in test and ODI". he is bad though.

personal opinion should count.

crap in tests ok in ODIs, any test bowler that has a average over 50 and strike rate over 80 is crap.

maybe not good enough to play in international side, however not crap overall.

His stats are bad, but his determination and the amount of effort are above any player in the international arena.
...... How can you even back something like that up? And if he is indeed putting in so much effort and determination and still not getting results, I think he is worse than previous estimates.

Of course, I'm sure his stats would have looked better if he had played in South Africa or Australia.

well he played tests in England and South Africa in the past year and had no sucess. conditions wont help him he is not made for tests.

I think we are seeing Pakistan cricket having a shortage of fast-bowlers for the first time in quite a few years.
If Sami is all Pakitan have in their ranks if Gul or Asif get injured, they need to find a few others quickly.
Arafat or Rao are`nt test class either.

Just because Sami has pace does not mean that he is a good bowler.
His pace is useless unless he can move the ball. He neither moves it of the pitch or in the air.
Even his pace is just around the early-mid 140s thee days.
Even RP Singh,Sreesanth (& sometimes Munaf Patel) clock those speeds with some movement to go with it but they have never been a hyped as Sami.
It is Imran Khan who keeps hyping Sami`s potential to be the next big superstar for Pakistan.

I might just be made to look foolish if the bowlers I mentioned above go on and take wickets at B`lore but I will still say that they are`nt test-class bowler.
