Nah theyre are plenty of stores that sell things brand new, I've got plenty of things from certain shops on ebay and all have been perfect.

Yes, I saw that just now. Thing is, I like to have the box in my hand and a disc and so on. I don't really like digital distribution at all. On top of that, you basically download the whole game, don't you? That would destroy my monthly usage.

The main reason for going against the poll was I did a lot of reading about both games, and Left 4 Dead just seemed to appeal more at the time. I will definitely get CoD 4 at some point soon though.

I don't really use Ebay at all, to be honest.

left 4 dead tops call of duty any day i just like the ide of having to fight zombies i like cod 5 because when you complete campagin mode you can go on natcher de zombies it is quality

I have them both now and CoD 4 is definitely the superior game in all respects. Whereas L4D can get repetitive, I don't find that with CoD 4 at all. Is there a special mode unlockable after campaign, similar to Nazi Zombies in CoD 5?
