does he make any difference. coz hes been out due to the elbow injury

and is not performing well these days.so what urs opinion.

CAN HE BE THE SAME TENDULKAR HE WAS 5-6 YEARS BACK.??

I don't think it's possible.He's a human & all humans become old.
Greg Chappel has said that you can't expect him to be as he used to be 5-10 years back.
Also his physical fitness is not that great. He's left out on most series these days.
He'll play till 2007 WC & retire after that.

So Sehwag is the next Sachin for India(I'm not comparing his class,it's about his match winning abilities)

No i don't think so
Age is catching up with the little master.

and i would say that sehwag is different from sachin.(no offense to you bharat)

well, atleast he could try to make a BIG IMPACT before his RETIRE.

OH NO !! THE LITTLE MASTER WILL RETIRE AFTER THE WC2007 :(

yes that's what I said too.I was not comparing his class with Sachin.
I'm telling his match winning abilities.
In the Tri-Series finals against Sri Lanka, when Sehwag was there the run rate was 10/over which dropped to 4 later.
He could have won the match for India like Sachin did against Pakistan in WC 2003 but unfortunately he got out.

We want a match winner...how he plays does not matter.

well i dont want any offence to you but the record says whenever sachin hits a century or big inning india mostly losses and i personally dont want sehwag to be a match winner like him. Sachin is undoubtedly the best but he never was a match winner.

I agree with ashu2411, Sachin was the best but definetely not a match winner. The only problem with him was he brought India so close to win matches but couldn't finish it off. On many occasions, he got out when India was close to a victory. Perhaps, he thought other would finish it off. But others.. ...didn't. They simply lost hope as Sachin was not around. That's Indian cricket for u. :D

Coming to this thread's topic, Sachin has past his best, and its difficult to play as he was 5-6 years back. He is human !!!

:)

What do u guys say about Sarjah 1996 & WC 2003?
Without him we couldn't won matches in those series.

Ya, without him we couldn't won those matches. He was simply brilliant in Sharjah 1996. In WC2003, he was good but simply couldnt deliver the knockout punch in the finals. That's what i said he got us so close in many matches but didn't finish it off. And he was not consistent in finishing off.

Example : In 1999, IND vs PAK test match at Chennai, IND lost by 14 runs. Sachin scored a century and brought us so close and played a horrible shot and got out. The rest followed him to the pavillion. I assume that no Indian would forget that Test Match.

No indian would forget it ...i'm sure coz the incident spurred kumble to go for a ten wicket haul.

anyhow without sachin tendulkar sharjah 98 was impossible but we could have done with the world cup. :crying
