I do think he can become the same player, but consistency and injuries are 2 ajor things to factor in. Before CWC in 2k3 he was not that great, but suddenly he was thrashing in every match of the world cup.

It would be nice to see him score more 50s on a regular basis and then maybe the odd hundred. I dont want him to be india saviour. I would much rather have him be their leader with example. Maybe he can inspire what will soon be a young squad to perform well.

CWC 2007 would be his last.
so i hope he makes an unbeatable contribution with everything to achieve his dream.

Well i have a good feeling about CWC 2007 for india.

Tendulkar may not be up to his best there.
but still india would be .

Sachin is the best the world as ever seen , dont forget world cup 1996 , he scored the most runs as a batsmen in world cup 1996 , and 65 runs at the highest quality in that semi-fianl vs sri lanka . The world cup 2003 was another succes for tendulakr , as he became the higest run scorer by far , and got india to the final , dont forget he made that brilliant knock agaisnt pakistan in the last group game when he was on pressure and that was a match winning knock , dont forget all them 8 matchwinning knocks agaisnt australia , when india won everytime sachin made a hundred agaisnt the aussies , and not to forget sachin in sharjah 1998 , all those knocks were match-winning knocks , and help india win the tournment.

I also think sachin can take india to world cup glory in 2007 , as he will work very very hard , and play good cricket . Its going to be sachins year in 2007.

sachin

i think from my view point tendulkar is a kind of player who can bounce back at any time of his career & the age factor we can say that t'dulkar is very young at the age of 32 & also compared to batsmen like jayasuriya who is now 36 and sachin has scored those ten thousand runs faster than jaya so i think t'dulkar can play 4 more years & he must be at a full swing at that time of his career.

The thing about Tendulkar is that the second you doubt him...he bounces back with a hundred...and then when you rely on him he gets a low score...he is very unpredictable bastsman

Whats the solution?

Sit back and let the master do his work

India to win the World Cup in 2007!!!
Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Australia, England and others will fall at the hands of Tendulkar, Sehwag and others.

Tendulkar will not be the same batsman that he used to be 5-6 years back! We have Dhoni filling in that role now!

Tendulkar will be a run accumulator in the coming years and is going to play a perfect opening batsman who is ordered to bat through the innings while playing his natural game (not too aggressive, not too defensive). So Tendulkar is going to be more consistent in scoring runs from now on for the team! But his hundreds are not going to come at the same regularity as before! But we will see more responsible innings from him from now on! Like the 95 vs Pakistan

yes, i agree with u sai but he is 2 young and he can play 4 more yrs.

as one grows older the reflexes sort of tend to slow down and the addition of maturity is reflected in the risk free but not so flambuoyant style of batting and this is exactly what's happening to tendulkar.you cannot say that he is out of form or playing rash strokes,he has rather curtailed down on his impulsiveness to shoulder more responsibility as his mere presence is quiet assuring.except dravid and tendulkar the whole team is packed with such strokeplayers that its imperative to have someone like sachin and dravid for stability.and i don't think that his strike rate is that bad.in addition a useful part time bowler who should be an asset to any team.he should be in the team till wc2007.

He should not retire
every Player has to one day, thats the way life goes, but after WC2007 , yes he will.

Get it from me...
The day he retires it will happen at Mumbai his home town.
