I would like the career to be like the international cricket captain one

ok some more brainstorming
how about having a proper system like having a franchise mode which includes
* scouting for upcoming player from domestic coemption
* deciding different salaries for different levels of cricket (international, domestic, xyz A team, U19)
* having power of Board of control (making tours, funding, development, technology, stadium maintainance, salaries, ticket prices) basically how to earn money and how to spend for future development
* hiring right coaches
* fitness trainers
* local newspaper and public reaction and support
* rivalries between team or between players
- players getting extra confindence or stats or points from winning against arch rivals
* pre and post game analysis (highlights, man of the match, man of series)
* GOOD commentary (please don't disappoint me)

I know I am thinking ahead of time but ..............

I'd like it if the stats changed and the form changed according to performances like in FIFA 2005, but that probably wont happen.

No problem being opitimistic! Who knows, codemasters have made great cricket games in the past, I personally believe that they'll do a much better job than EA (again)

I think then it will be like cricket management sim so they shoukd have two types of main career that get sub-catagorised, so like playing career or managin career(where u still play) then into domestic or internatiol, but i think we are thinking ahead too much and will be dissapointed if it didnt have any of these things

and also i think they should do the main career mode like fifa 2005 career mode a cross between managing and playing, they did transfer market well n stuff like that!

how would they implement trading into a cricket game? It's pretty rare in cricket, the only way they could do it is in the Domestic competition. It would be good if you can build up a players stats in the domestic comp, and then once he's good enough bring him up into the international ranks to represent his country.

I don't think there needs to be a trading system as cricket isn't as focused, like football, on clubs.

Although there should be a career mode as you mentioned which allows you to create a player or select a player and start off playing domestic cricket and being picked for international cricket later.
