Luis Felipe Scolari's side began their pre-season Geran tour with a 1-0 win over German Champions FC Bayern Munich in front of a full capacity crowd at the Allianz Arena .
Scolari's new signing and former Barcelona midfielder scored the lone goal before half time to see his side win comfortably at the end .
The two sides started the game aggressively . Bayern Muncih got the golden chance when Shchweinsteiger cross left Luca Toni unmarked for a free header but the header went agonizingly wide the left post .
Soon later Bayern Munich had another chance when Schweinsteiger free kick was headed by Klose but was brilliantly saved by keeper Petr Cech .
At the half hour mark Ashley Cole was tackled by Sebastian Deisler and Cole suffered a knock on his head as he fell down and had to be stretched out . But this had no affect on the way Chelsea played .
Shevchenko got a pass from Essien on the left flank and Shevchenko made a great turn to beat his marker and floated in a first time cross into the area and Deco headed it in pass Rensing to score the first goal of the match . Mark van Bommel complaint that Deco had pushed him but the referee had declared it as a goal and the Chelsea celebrated it . First goal for Deco in Chelsea colours .
Chelsea went 1-0 up at the half time break .Scolari made a lot of changes to have a look at his squad .
Just after half time Bayern Muncih had an another great chance when Lukas Podolski who came on at half time missed the target from 7 yards . Soon later Ribery had a long range shot well saved by substitute keeper Hilario .
Bayern Munich dominated the second half with their shots but were unable to score . Chelsea got one chance in the second half when Essien put a ball wide on the right to Kalou who crossed it in and Pizarro saw his header hit the cross bar .
2 minutes before the end of normal time Riise saw his long range shot from 32 yards hit the post and Toni completely made a mess of the rebound and at the end of was cleared by 2nd half skipper Michael Ballack . This miss by Toni completely wrapped up things for the home side as they lost to Chelsea .
In the yesterdays match against Bayern Munich , Chelsea saw their both left backs being stretched off . First Ashley Cole and then Wayne Bridge . The Medical report has come and has stated that the injury to Ashley Cole is not serious but the injury to Wayne Bridge is serious .
Mike Banks the physio reports that Ashely Cole suffered from a gashed head injury and will not be fully fit for at a few days . Ashley Cole can still take part in some training session though .
On the injury of Wayne Bridge Mike Bank reports that Wayne Bridge is suffering from a fractured kneecap injury and will not be fully fit for a minimum for three months which can be extended to 6 months depending on his recovery process . Wayne Bridge has a very injury prone career at Chelsea making a handful of starts . This injury may also affect his transfer from Chelsea to Lyon if he fails the medical .
Two players have left Staford Bridge today as Soclari's Chelsea team have sold their first player. Ivorian striker Salmon Kalou and France left midfielder Florent Malouda are the latest to be sold .
Kalou was wanted by four clubs but Lyon are the team who have payed ?12 million for the Ivorian international striker.
The Ivorian striker who struggled to score goals up front was used on the right or left hand side of the pitch most of the last season .
Kalou who moved from Feyernoord 2 season ago made about 41 appearances for Chelsea and most of them on the left wing under Grant scored only 14 times . Kalou was said put on transfer market by new manager Scolari .
Lyon were interested in the young Ivorian and made a huge offer of 12m which was accepted by the London club .
France international Florent Malouda has moved to Everton for a fee of ?5.5 million. The twenty-eight year old could of moved back to his old club Lyon but he rejected their contract offer.
Scolari said "Salmon is a brilliant player and Malouda is an outstanding hardworker, they will be missed by the fans I'm sure, but in my opinion, to me they are not the players that are going to win us the Premiership and the Champions League . We have a few replacements lined up, here's hoping it all works out for the best."
Malouda got his first cap for his country in 2004 and he has forty-one caps to his name. He has scored thrice for his country and scored on his competitive debut for Chelsea . In the 21 games he played for the Blues in a period of one-season he has scored 2 times.
A terrible first half performance by Chelsea recorded Luis Feilipe Scolari’s first loss as Chelsea boss. Chelsea conceded two goals in the first half as the Blues went on to lose 2-0.
Luis Scolari made a lot of changes in the starting XI that won against Bayern Munich . But this match it saw Schalke taking the advantage of some poor game by the Blues .
The game came to life with only six minutes on the clock when the home side took the lead, after Paulo Ferraria gave a away a free kick. The ball was played into the area by Levan Kobianshvili and after it was not cleared fully the ball found Lincoln. The striker's shot was well saved by Hilario but the ball bounced up and it found Kuranyi who reacted quickest to head the ball over a stranded Hailario.
Schalke grabbed their second just before the break through Levan Kobiashvili . The veteran striker took the ball in his stride on the right hand side and drifted past the static Chelsea defense to fire hard and low past Hilario in the Blues goal.
Scolari made a lot of changes at the break as he brought on Shevchenko , Lampard , Deco , Anelka , Cech and Bosingwa .
After the break Kuranyi could have grabbed his second of the match after his 25 yard effort was punched away for a corner by keeper Neuer .
Substitute Nicolas Anleka could have also grabbed a goal as his header was cleared of the line by skipper Bordon with only 2 more minutes left on the clock.
Blues pushed forward for the goal but the Schalke defense was not gonna stumble . The defense looked really strong and this was the best possible test for Chelsea and manager Scolari can get .Chelsea lose their first match of the under Scolari.

Chelsea hit back from their loss against Schalke 04 to beat VfL Wolfsburg by two goals to nil.
Chelsea made 5 changes from the loss at Schalke with Didlier Drogba and Micahel Essien dropping to the bench in place of former Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko and Frank Lampard .
Andriy Shevchenko grabbed a goal within the first 2 minutes . Ashely Cole found the run of Joe Cole on the left and with the outside of his left foot he whipped in a dangerous cross which was headed at his own keeper by Wolfsburg defender Hofland. Keeper Jentzsch parried the header but after Wright Phillips missed the initial rebound Shevchenko pounced to lash in through a crowd of players to continue his golden pre-season form .
Wolfsburg nearly grabbed a equaliser through Santana but he was twice denied by the impressive Petr Cech in the Chelsea goal.
Joe Cole was substituted for Didlier Drogba on the 60 minute mark and it was Drogba who grabbed the next Chelsea goal.
A great pass from midfield found Wright Phillips who controlled the ball, shielded off the defender and slipped it into the path of Didlier Drogba 20 yards out. He took it round the last defender into the area drew the goalie and calmly slotted it under him and into the left hand corner.
Chelsea next invite the Spanish Giants Real Madrid to the Bridge in a weeks time.

Kaka said "I've always wanted to play in the English Premierleague. It's one of the best leagues in the world and some of the greatest players have played there.Even I want to play under Luis(Scolari) as he is the man behind my success ."
He has forty one caps for his country scoring nineteen goals. The Brazil attacking midfielder currently has two more year's left on his contract but AC Milan are willing to accept an offer if it's too good to refuse.
