Codemasters Confirm Patch

I got the game today and batting is quiet fun i must say . I have no clue why my wicket keeper misses every catch. Hoping to see all those bugs being recovered, does anyone know if there is an instant replay thing in this game?

YAY this is great news about the patch. See I was gonna return the game today, but I said to myself no I won't return it, I'll be patient. I love cricket and I'm sure a patch will come soon, and I look forward to wot the modders can do as well. thanks for the info..

I think it is good news that they are actually going to dosomething about this however, as people have mentioned previously, theres so many things that need to be corrected. I hope im wrong and they do indeed sort all the many flaws that make the game unplayable. But just think back to all the promises that have gone before, what makes this any different?

Well this all sounds pretty interesting but nothing can be said for sure untill the patch is out. It is highly unlikely that all the small problems will be sorted out so this wont be a perfect solution to the work they have done on the game during development. Lets see and hope for the best, atleast somebody is taking initiative and trying something after another game full of bugs......

They've certainly earned some respect from me for actually considering a patch. I don't think any of us should expect the game to be 'perfect' once patched either. I also suspect we might need multiple patches since they will probably miss a few things with the first. Good news nonetheless!

WOW that is a good news I want codies to continue making cricket games. There has been some harsh comments about the game hopefully Codies will give us some faith that they are really looking to make good cricket games .

Being realistic it may not change much : but they should clear some bugs. I do not have the game and they are looking to correct some bugs :cool:

This is indeed good news and shows while Codemasters might not be perfect they do at least try (and in reality this is all you can ask of anyone).

Shame on everyone who ranted and raved about Codemasters taking peoples money and running.

I admire your optimism but I suggest waiting to see what the patch actually achieves before giving such lavish praise
