I'd agree with you though, usually the pitch has impact, but strange things can happen. I bowled out the top team in the league for 152 on a hard pitch, the first time he'd posted less than 280 batting first this season.

Skill obviously comes into it, a dominant bowler can surpass conditions against inferior players. However, what I managed transcended that as well. My theory is that his batsmen were heavily set to attack, while my plan was for outright containment.

That's beautifully done! Basson crept up to the stumps and has swiped off the bails as Barnard strayed too far from his crease. Great tactical bowling from Stiles to entice Barnard down the pitch.
