Steele has been feasting the PC BT league opponents so far.
2560 attendance awesome for a friendly almost the same as my league.

I consider Liddle & Chavhanga to be most dangerous though :p Still can't forget that long partnership against my team ;)

Wow aussie great win there. Cant wait to vs you because it shall be an interesting game!

lol.. I am sure even Syl wud be dancing too :) Awesome win there Syl! Congrads.

And Kutta, tough luck. you prbly lost becos of bowlers. Dusty track did not suit ur bowlers.
Didn't your spinner just take 6 on a green top?

Yes it was Bolland in league match :) Very sharp observation :clap

I'd agree with you though, usually the pitch has impact, but strange things can happen. I bowled out the top team in the league for 152 on a hard pitch, the first time he'd posted less than 280 batting first this season.

Skill obviously comes into it, a dominant bowler can surpass conditions against inferior players. However, what I managed transcended that as well. My theory is that his batsmen were heavily set to attack, while my plan was for outright containment.

Welcome to Greenbank CG for the match between Greenbank and Aussie Beltas.

We can tell you that Aussie Beltas won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

First three balls are dots

BFN bombers have chosen to bat first against me on a Hard and Fast. I'm taking a risk by playing Ludlam, his fitness isn't great, but I want to see how he performs, and hopefully I'll win even if he has a bad game :p

Playing Joe in PC Division 3 today.

Won the toss and I'm bowling first.

State of the match after 1 over is...

Code:
End of Over 1: 5-0, runrate=5.00
Sherwood	1-0-5-0
Hockley*	1 (5 balls)
Blair	4 (1 balls)
I fear a Blair masterclass so much. :(

End of Over 4: 9-0, runrate=2.25
Hutchinson 2-0-6-0
Gilbert* 3 (12 balls)
Nhleko 5 (12 balls)

Fairly economical start by me, should be good to take an early wicket

I needn't have worried

Code:
4.4 W	Sherwood to Blair
A superb delivery from Sherwood earns the faintest of edges. Blair shows great sportsmanship and walks briskly off to the pavilion. The umpire looks relieved as that would have been a difficult decision to make.

Match status

Code:
End of Over 5: 29-1, runrate=5.80
Sherwood	3-0-13-1
Hockley*	9 (19 balls)
Eavis	1 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Blair c. Fisher b. Sherwood 17 (FOW: 27/1)

4.6 W Stiles to Barnard
That's beautifully done! Basson crept up to the stumps and has swiped off the bails as Barnard strayed too far from his crease. Great tactical bowling from Stiles to entice Barnard down the pitch.

Stiles gets the first wicket.

Otto's being expensive but Stiles is bowling well.

End of Over 7: 38-1, runrate=5.43
Stiles 4-0-18-1
Mainey* 28 (27 balls)
Spiller 1 (1 balls)

7.6 W Mansell to Myall
No footwork from Myall, big nick through to Trench. Myall walks without waiting for the umpire's finger.

YEESSS! First wicket. Should be a great game.

End of Over 8: 32-1, runrate=4.00
Mansell 4-0-9-1
Atherton-ham* 22 (20 balls)
Mckay 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Myall c. Trench b. Mansell 10 (FOW: 32/1)

End of Over 10: 52-1, runrate=5.20
Otto 5-0-27-0
Mainey* 35 (36 balls)
Spiller 6 (11 balls)

Fairly even after 10 overs. A key moment will be how Ludlam bowls - he'll either be expensive or take wickets. Or both.

11.2 4 Ludlam to Spiller
Good connection! Can Muir get his fingers to it? No, it's through and over the rope.
11.1 1 Ludlam to Mainey
Wide delivery, late cut, deep backward point runs in to field.

Not the greatest of starts.
