10.2 W Nicholls to Gilbert
That's got him, brilliant slower delivery there from Nicholls that got Gilbert in all sorts of bother. You have to pick your times to bowl those, and Nicholls certainly did that. Great variation of pace

Nicholls first ever wicket with the Aussie Beltas. He has done quite a few Slower Deliveries today.

Greenbank however have started to pick up the runrate

End of Over 11: 46-1, runrate=4.18
Nicholls 6-0-19-1
Moxey* 1 (1 balls)
Nhleko 24 (32 balls)

Last Wicket: Gilbert b. Nicholls 17 (FOW: 41/1)

Change in the bowling its going to be Michael Shaka coming into the attack

11.6 W Cornick to Atherton-ham
Half volley, skied away to long on where Jacques takes the catch.

Another wicket.

End of Over 12: 47-2, runrate=3.92
Cornick 1-0-3-1
Mckay* 12 (18 balls)
Alexander 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Atherton-ham c. Jacques b. Cornick 25 (FOW: 47/2)

i lost to the assassins XI

Erye's PF was too low

his batting terribly slow (like on friday) bowling wasnt too bad but not as good as i'd expect

What! And I lost to you!
Hrrmph

Welcome to The Bullets Dome for the match between Briggs Bullets and TT Lions.

We can tell you that Briggs Bullets won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking like a road. As flat as a pancake. No help for the bowlers on this sunny day.
End of Over 15: 64-2, runrate=4.27
Tuckett 1-0-2-0
Ali* 29 (40 balls)
Moodley 6 (7 balls)

Last Wicket: Sohail c. Giddings b. Crouch 22 (FOW: 57/2)

Ainsworth 3 ball duck to Rudi. Decent start, but I hate bowling first. You never know with my batting when it comes to chasing...
Oh, and Eli is fifth bowler today for a change.
Nice to see you win one for a change Syl. :)

14.2 1 Dodd to Mainey
A sharp piece of play results in a single as the batsmen set off quickly after Mainey deflected the ball just in front of his feet.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Thats just the sort of innings needed to build a base for a strong total, which will be needed today, also a good return to form for Mainey.

End of Over 15: 81-1, runrate=5.40
Dodd 1-0-3-0
Mainey* 51 (52 balls)
Spiller 19 (25 balls)

That run rate is more than pleasing at this stage hopefully we'll keep going. Dodd has had an exceptional first over, hopefully we can get some runs out of Ludlam.

15.4 W Crouch to Ali
That's atrocious batting! He's moved so far towards the off side you can see middle stump and Crouch hits it!
Wow, second wicket for Crouch. Not bad.

End of Over 16: 68-3, runrate=4.25
Crouch 3-0-16-2
Moodley* 6 (7 balls)
Midworth 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Ali b. Crouch 33 (FOW: 68/3)

33.2 3 Ludlam to Mainey
Mainey has tried to hit over the top but didn?t middle it. He will still pick up a three though.
And that's a century for Mainey! Well played indeed Sir!

Brilliant batting there, hopefully he will accelerate from here onwards.

33.5 6 Ludlam to Spiller
Smacked the ball into the head of a small child who had to be taken to hospital!
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Ironic that his uber slow fifty comes up with a 6, I hope he goes out soon.

End of Over 35: 176-1, runrate=5.03
Stone 6-1-15-0
Spiller* 55 (85 balls)
Mainey 102 (115 balls)

The run rate isn't that slow, but if Mainey had a fast scorer acompanying him it would be alot higher. Oce again, I hope Spiller goes out, he's scoring much too slowly.

finished up on 291-3, i think my bowlers will be strong enough to stop phil chasing that down. Thay made 104* off 84,Hockley making 92 extra slooow.Blair was dissapointing but he can't make 150 every week,a good performance with the bat with everybody getting a start although if Hockley had been quicker we could have gotten well past 300.

End of Over 50: 258-7, runrate=5.16
Stiles 10-0-52-5
Nicholls* 21 (18 balls)
Singh 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Samuel c. Basson b. Stiles 0 (FOW: 258/7)

Not a bad total considering the cliched battrick collapse at the end.... 6 wickets in 10 overs for not all that many runs, oh well. Hopefully somehow we can defend this and pull off a lucky win.

Chasing 153 to win, I knocked over Briggs' target with 6 wickets and 17.4 overs to spare. MOTM Rudi with his 67 and 1/20. Crouch 3/32 and 2*, Tuckett 3/35, Abdeen 40*, Eli 1/21. Good stuff.

Here's the match between the Cricket Geniuses and the Bushwackers, which is a cracker! After a horrible start to the game when the Bushwackers were heading for a 350+ total, Mcdonald managed to pull it back with five wickets in two overs , thus leaving the Geniuses with 301 to win off 50 overs. So far:
End of Over 32: 191-0, runrate=5.97, reqrunrate=6.11 (300-6)
Mcinerney 6-0-24-0
Hume* 78 (95 balls)
Allardyce 109 (99 balls)
My man Allardyce is in for and I hope I reach the 40th over with about 8 wickets in hand to give me a really good chance to finish this game of.

I beat the Old Wulfs today! A rather remarkable result to say the least, I'm absolutely overjoyed with it but no doubt Freddie Fan will be rather ticked off at the result.

BFN Bombers 258-7 (50 overs)
Mainey 116
Stiles 5/52

Old Wulfs 184-10 (40.5 overs)
Gilroy 75*
Bird 4/31

Here are the ratings (yes I know they aren't always the best to go by, but they give a rough guide ) to prove how (lucky?) much of a good result it is for us.

Old Wulfs BFN Bombers
Top Order: proficient mediocre
Middle Order: respectable competent
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: competent competent
Spin Bowling: competent competent
Fielding: feeble woeful

defending 297 phil was all out for 170. None of his batsmen made big scores whilst my keeper took 6 catches and McKenna my all rounder took 6 wickets. I had confidence that i could bowl them out and all my bowlers either took wickets or were very cheap.
