No dodgy fumble's there :p

Dammit, 2 runs off what would have been a fine half century! Nevermind, Edwards is in now, I don't think he'll last very long, used to be my finest batsman, but hes now been outflanked by most of my opposition.

Stone is bowling tightly.

24.4 W Stiles to Edwards
BOWLED! A touch short, Edwards tries to work it to the on side, gets an inside edge and gets bowled.

Good stuff from Stiles here. Lets keep the pressure on with another few wickets.

There's carnage here at the Cricket Geniuses CG, as expected. We're just too good for Hampton Central.

End of Over 25: 180-0, runrate=7.20
Obrien 6-0-44-0
Allardyce* 106 (79 balls)
Hume 73 (71 balls)

31.3 3 Hemmings to Wood
Swept down to the deep fine leg area. Stone does well to get round from backward square leg to cut off the four.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Great stuff from Wood. Hopefully his fitness wont take too much of a hit for his bowling, hes probably the best bowler on this team.
My latest buy, formerly Briggs batting trainee, is in, and hes made 11 off 9 balls so far.
Its a bit optimistic to say that these two are going to last out 15 overs, but they are both pretty good. One more wicket and the tail are in :(

Stiles 10-2-43-4

Stiles has done what I asked of him, excellent performance.

45.1 W Otto to Wood
Gone! Poor footwork from Wood, he's just shuffled across the crease to play that one and it's hit him plumb in front.

Being on strike for Otto's return proves a costly mistake for Wood as he misses out on 3 figures.

End of Over 50: 233-10, runrate=4.66
Otto 9-0-42-4
Osmond* 1 (7 balls)

Should be a fairly comfortable chase.

If you don't mind my asking, what are Wood's stats? He seems a good player.

End of Over 5: 22-4, runrate=4.40, reqrunrate=7.80 (372-3)
Barker 3-0-13-3
Gelder* 5 (5 balls)
Mckay 9 (11 balls)

Guess who's winning .

End of Borncricketers Innings
End of Over 50: 275-6, runrate=5.50
Mckinlay 10-1-63-2
Mckenzie* 11 (5 balls)
Ali 1 (1 balls)

End of Over 10: 58-0, runrate=5.80, reqrunrate=5.45 (275-6)
Alshaun 5-0-32-0
Ainsworth* 34 (29 balls)
Sohail 24 (31 balls)
need a few wickets now, both the batsmen are going welll

EDIT MASILO STRIKES
10.5 W Masilo to Ainsworth
Apparently, for every batsman dismissed for LBW during the months of December, another turkey is plumped, plucked and cooked to heavenly succulence. Roll on Christmas Day!
Rampaul comming on next :) hope to c a few more wickets :upray

Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: respectable Concentration: proficient
Bowling: proficient Consistency: feeble
Fielding: feeble

Pretty decent. At some point his stamina is going to be upped a bit, I am more anxious to finish off his primary training before he turns 19. Probably my best player, although the stats don't show it. Unlucky to get only 94, and miss out on a decent century.

End of Over 34: 146-1, runrate=4.29, reqrunrate=5.50 (233-10)
Ifill 7-0-23-1
Mason* 68 (116 balls)
Gilroy 46 (50 balls)
Last Wicket: Heath c. Lungile b. Ifill 23 (FOW: 60/1)

Fairly docile there. Wood didn't take too much of a stamina hit, didn't take any wickets but went at 3.7 rpo. Long and Hignett, both not as good, are going at 5.
Ifill yet again performing on a green top by removing Heath.

7.3 6 Winters to Mcintyre
In comes Winters, bowling another twirler. Over steps Mcintyre and, WOW! That's been swept right out of the ground. A standing ovation after that shot for Mcintyre.
End of Over 8: 32-0, runrate=4.00
Winters 4-0-22-0
Spearitt* 10 (24 balls)
Mcintyre 22 (24 balls)
Against Havard Club, should have been Rabbitohs. Batting first, weakend team...

End of Over 37: 166-1, runrate=4.49, reqrunrate=5.23 (233-10)
Long 9-0-53-0
Gilroy* 52 (56 balls)
Mason 82 (128 balls)
Last Wicket: Heath c. Lungile b. Ifill 23 (FOW: 60/1)

Still fairly quiet. Expecting either of these two to start hitting a bit more soon.

36.2 1 Long to Gilroy
Long definitely owes Ifill a beer after that diving save at square leg. His athleticism restricted a certain boundary to one.

Ifill showing off his worthless fielding skills :p

Mason gone, a good thing for me. My 2 best bats in now, expect the scoring rate to increase significantly.

Cricket Geniuses beat Hampton Central by 284 runs !!

Still too slow...need to pick things up...

Crouch is going ballistic...
End of Over 39: 180-1, runrate=4.62
Cudworth 10-1-48-0
Crouch* 71 (59 balls)
Mcintyre 73 (105 balls)

Last Wicket: Spearitt c. Henno b. Winters 29 (FOW: 81/1)

45.6 4 Nomvete to Crouch
Crash! That's gone like a bullet through point, four runs.
And that's a century for Crouch! Well played indeed Sir!
Atta boy, only 81 deliveries. He's outpaced Mcintyre who's been there since the start! Last 75 runs off 50 balls, last 50 off 34.
