Well its all over, pathetic performance to be honest, really expected a lot better, only Bignot did well with the ball.
47.3 W Gillman to Nutter
It's in the air, I think Ahmed is just too far away.....no, he's caught it! Ahmed went down in a tangle of arms and legs and came up holding the ball! Brilliant!
And that's the end of the match. Briggs Bullets won by 25 runs.
Briggs Bullets 285-8
Cricwick Legends 260-10

And that's the end of the match. Everton won by 7 wickets.
TT Lions 233-10
Everton 234-3
For the first time, my bowling was a disgrace. Both Anthony and Mampe managed hundreds, and they aren't even that great! Crouch 0/59 in 10, Eli 0/52. Eli has just been rubbish in all his games. And this on a dusty to boot. Rudi 0/45 in 8.4, Folkes only 1/38 in 8, and Tuckett 2/36.

I've got 1 level on him in Bowling and Fielding, he has one on me in batting. Bowling was just not right today.

Im pretty sure that those 'display' errors that are coming up regarding what type of pitch it is are having an effect on the game. All my home games are hard and fast, yet none of them of late have played like one, instead they are playing like the ones suggested. Today for instance the 'error' showed the pitch being Flat, yet why for periods of time in both innings did the batsmen struggle? its not only this game its occured, its happened in previous weeks too and it is concerning me as I should have won today in a similar fashion to how i did on Friday, and that team I played on Friday were stronger than Cricwick of today.

So, Browne quite rightly got MOTM for his 100. A disappointing start to the tournament for me, I need a better all round performance next week.

I think the main problem you have in your team is form. None of your bowlers today were in superb form. I notice they're mostly pacemen; you could work on giving them more wickets by making your pitch uneven or cracked. Alternately you could use one of aussie1st's prefered tactics, recruit extra spinners and bowl them on a dusty home wicket.

Nice win Angry, absolutely crushed there Zorax :(

You definitely want confident bowlers as my guys weren't taking wickets before now they are able to bowl a side out.

I kept Greenbank down to 285/7, a lot of their batsmen played well but no-one really blew me away with a hat-trick being my only real brilliant moment. Then with the bat I chased it with 3 overs to spare and 8 wickets left. My openers were brilliant again,Hockley making 88 along with his 140* earlier in the week and Blair making 141* which i think means he's has 300 runs this week for the loss of 1 wicket :) I've won 2 in a row

I won the toss and not surprising sent the opposition in.

Highlights from the match so far.

2.3 W Islam to Norton
Good length away swinging delivery and an easy catch for Masibulele. Did it nick the bat? Islam thinks so and the umpire agrees! Out!

3.1 W Sam to Folan
Through the gate! Takes off stump out of the ground - no doubt about that one.

9.3 W Sam to Mears
He's out! That was a disgraceful shot. It was a wide ball and he's had a little dabble and gifted Masibulele a catch.

10 overs

End of Over 10: 44-3, runrate=4.40
Sam 5-0-21-2
Conn* 1 (1 balls)
Morgan 22 (28 balls)

Last Wicket: Mears c. Masibulele b. Sam 10 (FOW: 43/3)

20 overs

End of Over 20: 95-3, runrate=4.75
Ryan 5-0-22-0
Morgan* 45 (52 balls)
Conn 29 (37 balls)

Last Wicket: Mears c. Masibulele b. Sam 10 (FOW: 43/3)

28.6 W Shorey to Morgan
Masibulele appeals for leg before... and the umpire is in agreement! Astonishing! Shorey looks rather embarrassed to be given that one!

29.4 W Pollard to Draper
Got him! Yes! He's bowled the classic inswinging yorker and the bails go flying, middle stump goes over and a wicket is lost.

30 overs

End of Over 30: 130-5, runrate=4.33
Pollard 5-1-12-1
Conn* 57 (65 balls)
Jacques 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Draper b. Pollard 0 (FOW: 130/5)

40 overs

End of Over 40: 184-5, runrate=4.60
Ryan 10-0-53-0
Jacques* 24 (29 balls)
Conn 86 (99 balls)

Last Wicket: Draper b. Pollard 0 (FOW: 130/5)

42.1 W Sam to Conn
Very, very plumb. Reverse sweep attempted, but that one keeps low. Conn isn't amused, but he's out. No question about that.

47.3 W Islam to Jacques
Beautiful delivery finds an edge. Masibulele grabs it, the appeals go up. He's out.

Double wicket maiden last over for Islam.

Code:
End of Over 50: 255-9, runrate=5.10
Islam 10-2-43-4
Mitten* 24 (21 balls)
Willis 0 (1 balls)

Last Wicket: Bramall b. Islam 0 (FOW: 255/9)

49.6 . Islam to Willis
Well outside the off stump, stayed low and Willis is not tempted to play a shot.
49.5 W Islam to Bramall
[COLOR=Red]OUT! Easy as you like. It wasn't the best of shots from Bramall, but let's give the bowler some credit. He pushed that through a little bit quicker and he got his reward as the stumps went tumbling. [/COLOR]
49.4 . Islam to Bramall
Swing and a miss, Islam will be encouraged by that one.
49.3 . Islam to Bramall
Good ball! Bramall is lucky that lifting delivery didn't take his chin on the way through! Masibulele took that above shoulder height.
49.2 W Islam to Riches
[COLOR=Red]That's clipped Riches's pad as it goes down the leg side. Riches can't believe it. He's been given out, caught behind by Masibulele. What a poor decision. [/COLOR]
49.1 . Islam to Riches
Fullish ball swinging in on off stump, firmly driven straight back to Islam.

His bowling is far superior to mine so don't even want to imagine what his bowlers will do to my batters.

u started out well, but then they had some good partnerships in the middle overs...i guess if u say thier bowling is harder then ur guys will need to pull off a miracle

Well here is what I meant :(

1.1 W Mitten to Liddle
A mix up between the batsmen results in the sacrificial lamb being stranded as Bramall whips off the bails.

1.5 W Mitten to Steele
Steele flat bats a widish length ball into the waiting hands of long off. A good catch as the ball shot sharply off the bat.

Good partnership is going on but another 2 wickets and my big hitters come out.

End of Over 7: 34-2, runrate=4.86, reqrunrate=5.16 (255-9)
Mears 4-1-24-0
Weaver* 13 (14 balls)
Chavhanga 15 (21 balls)

Last Wicket: Steele c. Norton b. Mitten 0 (FOW: 3/2)

Liddle's wicket is a big loss Syl. Its exactly like my match against brett_lee. There also, i got two quick wickets while bowling first but he ended in 250+. And like u lost Liddle, i lost Alshaun early. And gud partnership for third wicket i guess for me too! ;)

Hope Chavhanga stays for you to win :)

hope u can get a good partnership going now:)

my match started too, another crucial match as this is the 3rd place team, that is also strong. So far i think they GFIed it cause their batsmen have come out and started to hit the ball around and are picking up singles...if i lose this i fall down to 2nd and may be even 3rd :(  ...

Masilo strikesss with the price wicket of Mannix(25,000 player, all rounder averaging 117)
4.3 W Masilo to Mannix
That's atrocious batting! He's moved so far towards the off side you can see middle stump and Masilo hits it!
and wait Masilos not done yet:)
4.6 W Masilo to Ghandi
Great diving catch by Rampaul. Ghandi thought it was four!
the fielding nets for Rampaul have paid off:)

Score
End of Over 5: 18-2, runrate=3.60
Masilo 3-0-10-2
Trotman* 10 (17 balls)
Leadbeater 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Ghandi c. Rampaul b. Masilo 0 (FOW: 18/2)

Thats good break through for you!

Well my match has started too! The opponent won the toss and decided to bat first.

HuntingTigers have picked Bartlett, Folds, Malik, Alshaun, Field, Govender, Baloch, Clarke, Wotton, Bolland, Padayachie.

And steady start from my bowlers so far.. but i expected early wickt though.
End of Over 5: 14-0, runrate=2.80
Padayachie 3-1-9-0
Mohammed* 3 (12 balls)
Alshaun 10 (19 balls)

haha bowling first is always good:)

Alshaun goes for 17 in his 3rd over
(Alshaun 3-0-20-0 )

The things were just getting irritated when the oponent was playing in steady manner,
End of Over 12: 34-0, runrate=2.83
Clarke 1-0-8-0
Alshaun* 21 (46 balls)
Mohammed 12 (27 balls)

Padayachie striked in right moment getting a break through,
12.1 W Padayachie to Alshaun
Just short of a length, nipping away, Alshaun goes for the cut, finds the edge, and safely caught by Folds.

After 17 overs....

Code:
End of Over 17: 79-3, runrate=4.65
Weir 2-0-5-0
Dolezar* 14 (19 balls)
Chanderpaul 30 (35 balls)

Last Wicket: Moodley b. Dangasela 14 (FOW: 47/3)

Code:
18.2 . Weir to Dolezar
[B]Short and wide, just like my mother in law[/B]. No run.
