wel kutta make sure you dont promote, else you will have a 14 match long losing streak of chasing runs... your team reports?

40.1 4 Poke to Herath
Crash! That's gone like a bullet through point, four runs.

Hits poke on his return...

40.2 W Poke to Herath
Duminda appeals for leg before... and the umpire is in agreement! Astonishing! Poke looks rather embarrassed to be given that one!

Sweet Revenge...

And that's the end of the match. Aura won by 204 runs.
Aura 384-2
Tangalla CC 180-10

last time we both played, they were bowled out for 86... But then only Cash had played that day, the other four were Hilton, Aziz, Fletcher and Yeddehige

Tangalla CC Aura
Top Order: feeble competent
Middle Order: woeful feeble
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: abysmal mediocre
Spin Bowling: useless mediocre

Poor fellow... my spin ratings dropped without Hilton, but i can improve my top order for sunday :D And my next season will be good too...

Only one rating behind you in the seam bowling department now :p
Good to see you back on the winning track, how did that yp guy of yours go?

What makes you think that I will be thinking of getting promoted? The five 0 ITS yps whom I will pull from my youth academy from this week onward will be part of the play-off game XI.And they will be shown the door as soon as the play-off gets over.:p

If you need some useless YP I can sell you some ;)
Good thing you were chasing this one or you would have been in trouble.

Thanks for the offer. But my youth academy has tons of useless youths. So no need to buy overseas youths.:D

Yeah!! I ended up winning

Bowled the opposition out for 118, Rampaul bowling an awesome over 5-1-10-4

Won by 7 wickets losing the first 3 quickly

End of Over 26: 153-2, runrate=5.88, reqrunrate=6.17 (300-2)
Brooks 8-1-46-0
Gilroy* 66 (57 balls)
Stiles 63 (62 balls)

Taking it easy against the league leaders, and I'm not doing badly at all. I doubt if I'll win, but we'll see how it goes.

End of Over 30: 166-2, runrate=5.53, reqrunrate=6.75 (300-2)
Brooks 10-1-54-0
Gilroy* 73 (68 balls)
Stiles 68 (75 balls)

20 overs left, and a bit of acceleration needed to challenge. But I don't expect to win. I'm already pleased with the performance with it being a TIE - maybe he is as well.

End of Over 31: 179-2, runrate=5.77, reqrunrate=6.42 (300-2)
Mason 6-0-56-0
Gilroy* 74 (71 balls)
Stiles 80 (78 balls)

Last Wicket: Mason lbw b. Lynch 12 (FOW: 29/2)

30.6 4 Mason to Stiles
Straight bat, he managed to get into the gap past cover and a boundary is the result.
30.5 2 Mason to Stiles
He didn't quite time that, but they'll run two.
30.4 6 Mason to Stiles
93.9mph, but slogged back all the way over the ground and into the car park.

Get in there Billy!

End of Over 40: 219-2, runrate=5.48, reqrunrate=8.20 (300-2)
Larkman 10-0-46-0
Gilroy* 92 (99 balls)
Stiles 100 (104 balls)

8 and a bit an over off the last 10, still pretty open. Could go either way.

What a game this is!
End of Over 42: 189-5, runrate=4.50, reqrunrate=5.62 (233-6)
Gillman 6-1-26-1
Finn* 2 (3 balls)
Bexfield 1 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Carrick c. Ali b. Gillman 36 (FOW: 186/5)
Either team has it there for the taking! 45 from 48 with 5 wickets left.

EDIT: YES!!! I didnt spend ?3.5m for no reason!!
42.5 W Mcmahon to Briggs
Mcmahon to Briggs, Bowled him! That one hit the seam and moved a mile; Briggs played all around it.
42.4 W Mcmahon to Finn
He didn't get anything on that one, and is struck cleanly on the pad. The umpire has no hesitation in giving him out LBW.
he got my name sake out too, sweet!

And now Gilly!! Yes!! What a victory this is going to be!
43.1 W Gillman to Giles
Half volley, skied away to long on where Ali takes the catch.
43.3 W Gillman to Trevor
A good length ball just outside the line of off stump. Trevor is unable to get his bat out of the way in time and the ball takes a healthy edge on its way to Midworth.

In the last 3 overs, there have been 7 fours, 11 singles and a grand total of 0 dod balls. Stunning stuff, 39 runs in 3 overs. Amazing. On a TIE, I might be about to beat the team no-one has been able to touch all season.

End of Over 43: 258-2, runrate=6.00, reqrunrate=6.14 (300-2)
Lynch 7-1-46-2
Gilroy* 117 (109 balls)
Stiles 114 (112 balls)

EDIT - Ah, Stiles out for 114. Game really on.

End of Over 45: 276-3, runrate=6.13, reqrunrate=5.00 (300-2)
Lynch 8-1-55-2
Gilroy* 122 (114 balls)
Basson 12 (6 balls)

25 off the last 5, I should win, surely?

I win again :) by a load! If i'd known i was playing a noob i would gave gone TIE but i only found out today so i went as normal. Blair made 153* again, making his last few scores 153*,141*,166
the team made 329 and then i bowled them out for 49. Thay made 99* and then my spinner Wingham took.
Wingham 2.3 0 6 4
My league is easy

46.3 W Lynch to Basson
Slower ball not picked by Basson, he was through the shot too soon and he spoons a sitter back to Lynch

Basson gove. I've got 4 Comp+ batsmen to come and less than 20 to win. I should do it.

46.4 W Lynch to Heath
New stumps please. That delivery has snapped middle stump in two.

Make that 3 Comp+ batsmen.

47.6 1 Scanes to Fieldwick
Smart batting by Fieldwick. Rotating the strike and picking up a quick single.
47.5 1 Scanes to Gilroy
Steered down the ground into the gap past deep gully, third man running in to field.
47.4 1 Scanes to Fieldwick
Full delivery, slapped to deep mid wicket.
47.3 1 Scanes to Gilroy
Solid stroke to long on.
47.2 4 Scanes to Gilroy
I could watch that shot all day. Timed to perfection.
47.1 1 Scanes to Fieldwick
Wide of off, cut to deep point for the single.

That's done it, surely.

And that's the end of the match. Old Wulfs won by 5 wickets.
Crabbys Catchers 300-2
Old Wulfs 301-5

End of Over 49: 301-5, runrate=6.14
Lynch 9-1-65-4
Fieldwick* 9 (6 balls)
134 (122 balls)

Phenomenal win. Beat the league leaders on a TIE. I genuinly can't believe it. Gilroy superb, backed up by Stiles, and Fieldwick did the job at the end.

I did it, 5 wicket win. Gilroy 134*, Stiles 114, Fieldwick 9* to steer me home at the end. Really can't believe it. I shouldn't beat these guys on a normal, yet I did them on a TIE:

Old Wulfs (take it easy)

The ratings show what an amazing win this is.

Reporter's Summary
Old Wulfs Crabbys Catchers
Top Order: respectable superb
Middle Order: competent competent
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: competent superb
Spin Bowling: competent strong
Fielding: feeble feeble
