I've found in the last couple of days that when I've fancied playing a cricket game I've turned to Real Cricket 20 on the iPad where I would usually have gone for Cricket 19 on the PS4.
For a freemium mobile game, it does some things a lot better than the high priced console game. While it is obviously limited by budget and processing power, Real Cricket 'feels' a lot more like the real thing in its animations. From the batsman's stance to the bowler's run up, it just feels a lot more true to life. Add to that the little cut scenes and details, you just get the feeling that we should expect more from a console cricket game.
I hope Big Ant take some inspiration from Real Cricket if/when they make another cricket game.
