would it make any sense to have the world ODI XI play against the world test XI. that would maybe ease the selection problems and the potential fan bias.

I'd love to see the World Test XI win a T20 This could be a good idea, the players would be playing to prove that they don't deserve to be labelled as Test/ODI only specialists...

I saw the New Zealand beat the World XI in early 2005. An amazing innings from Fleming.

That was a pretty crappy team though. Was a great hundred off 50ish balls or something. Took Murili to the cleaners.
