Yayy! We won against Indians. A brilliant bowling performance by Dutch team specially Koeleman and an all round performance from our skipper gave us this win.

What a great innings by Tarilton showing what a champion player he was back in the day. I would have liked more support from #4. Luckily we bat very deep so we got just enough on the board setting aside the struggle against Grimmett and once our own, Smith. It would take a lot better effort from our batsmen to take down the Brits in the QF and I believe if we put our act together we can do that. We did that in 1894-95, 1901-02, 1910-11 in RL. We even had a highly successful tour of England in 1923 so I see no reason why we cannot beat GB in the virtual league too. A lot would depend on Challenor, Tarilton, Pascall and Francis.

I think we can go unchanged because we have got a very good allround side. Only missing link would be Learie who I think should be available for the next season of Olympics.

So ended the United States' golden run as a cricketing nation, which saw them win medals for cricket in every Olympics from 1896 to 1912. And so ended the long and illustrious career of the Bart King, arguably the greatest all-rounder in Olympic history.
