With cricket officially returning to the Commonweath Games for the first time since 1998 in the form of Women's T20Is thanks to the cowards at the ICC who somehow excluded the men altogether, I reckoned it the best time to do a sequel to my 2014 Cricket at the Commonwealth Games in the Men's 50-over format. A total of 16 nations have come forward to participate although many noticeably without some of their leading cricketers as a result of bubble fatigue and international cricket's gruelling schedule with two marquee tournaments coming up in the next 1-year period in the form of the 2022 T20 World Cup and the 2023 Men's 50-over World Cup. Eight years is a bloody long time, but lets see if I still have some of that old spark up my sleeve.

Squads have been selected as realistically as possible taking into account real life injuries, recent retirements, game time since last appearance, format preferences, performances, playing conditions, experience in those conditions and cannot be altered under normal circumstances. Still, if you desperately want an unpicked/obscure, uninjured/unretired player or two or more added in place of some of the selected, you'll have to make your case via PM to me.
And if you can, please sign up with 2 teams apiece seeing as its rather unlikely we'll get 16 different managers. Only one top nine team (Barbados, Jamaica, T&tT in place of the West Indies) as per the ICC ODI rankings of July 2022 allowed per member.
