Cricket's One Hit Wonders

There was one Indian batsman who was a one-hit wonder, literally.
If you have`nt guessed yet,it was Hrishikesh Kanitkar whose only achievement was scoring a match-winning boundary which helped India to a successful run-chase (which was then a world-record run chase).
He even played a test match but that was his only achievement of note(this just shows how crap our side was in the 1999-2000 season).

Ya agreed, but he played few ODI's,but many time we also read his name in domestic, there are few players that we dont ever read/hear after they are dropped from side like

  1. Harvinder Singh
  2. D Mohantti
  3. Abey Kuruvilla
  4. Vijay Bharadwaj (was Man of Series in his 1st ODI series, later he was not there in side, and also not heard)
There are many like these...

I think there were a couple of English players that were one-hit wonders...Neill Fairbrother (one test) and the other was a fast bowler, is an umpire now, can anyone guess who it is...he played one maybe two test for England...his nickname was ghost...any ideas?

Another Neil, Neil Mallender.

Fairbrother actually played 10 tests tho; he just couldn't ever transfer his ODI form to the longer format.
