i loved it actually very much
compared to wankhade 100 good

I hear dinner hall and dressing room are not good. But they will improve definately.

Saw this stadium in a game which Sehwag played and it looks so diffrent now. Wonder how will it look when roof comes up.

Many stadiums have roof. I think Ahmedabad is best stadium in terms of facilities.

I doubt that D.Y.Patil will host any international matches in the near future.
The main reason is that it is way too far from where the players stay. They stay at Colaba which is a 120 minute drive [atleast,if not for the traffic].

I'd rather,the players stay at Lonavla,then make their way off the express highway and reach D.Y within 45 minutes.

Well ,good to know that you went for the match and enjoyed it. Even i had a pass,but was too lazy and gave it to one of my friends.

As for the matches.For the very reason that i mentioned above,the matches have been shifted out of DY to Wankhede.
