Right guys, so we are not too far off the end of the year so I thought I would go ahead and make my version of Don Bradman Cricket's team of the year.
I have been part of many leagues now and have been involved with some of the best players around. This team features the guys who have been playing in these leagues and will exclude some of the more recent players to have joined.
So here we go.
1. Chaman (@chaman82) - Master Blaster - Right Hand Opening Batsman.
If there ever was a guy who would feature in any team of the year, this guy would be in it. His ability to strike the ball and timing are from another planet. At one stage he was simply unbeatable and went 15 league games unbeaten.
2. Attie (@Acid Burn) - Mr Consistant - Right Hand Opening Batsman.
If you had to bet on someone to score 160 or more in a T20, or above 300 in an ODI, this would be your guy. Ranked number 1 in DBC official T20 rankings, and number 5 in our Planet Cricket T20 rankings shows exactly how consistent he is.
3. Amin (@AL_Amin) - The Wall - Left Hand Top Order Batsman
Holds the record partnership in test cricket of over 300 runs with the opening batsman, Amin comes in at 3 being the one who will hold this side together. The temperament and risk free Cricket this lad can play is unmatched by any and will often leave the bowling side short of answers.
4. Imran (@RIZZYX) - Pressure Man - Right Hand Middle Order Batsman
So often has he been on the brink of defeat, even against players you want bank on him beating, but some how manages to find a way home. He is the man for a pressure situation. A great pacer of the innings, having famously chased down 178 in the IPL Final.
5. Valarian (@valerian140) - Safe as a House - Wicket Keeper - Left Hand Batsman
A Old horse, was part of the first ever organised DBC league here on Planet Cricket, and reliable in all aspects of the game, makes him our ideal candidate for behind the stumps and a solid middle order batsman.
6. Kushari (@kushari) - The Entertainer - Right Hand Middle Order Batsman
Has the highest official T20 score on record, highest chase on record (in only 13 overs) and the highest cross platform record with a staggering 424 in 20 overs. This guy knows how to entertain the crowd. Add's box office value to any game.
7. Vinit (@VinitPhilip) - The Finisher - All Rounder - Right Hand Batsman - Right Arm Off Spin
Has scored more than 200 (team total) in T20's against the best bowlers (bvn and puns) making him the man to counter quality bowling and see the side home. Equipped with supreme timing and the ability to hit it real big makes him the perfect finisher in the shorter formats.
8. Francis (@francisjery) - The Professor - All Rounder - Right Batsman - FastMedium Bowler
Straight out of a text book, plays according to the rules to the dot. Knows the game better than anyone. A reliable lower order batsman and accurate fast medium bowler.
9. Puneet (@lonewolf5646) - Speed Demon - Right Arm Fast Bowler
Hostile, accurate and deadly. The guy no batsman wants to face. Can rip through any batting line up. Has a lethal slower ball to fox the batsman. Has single handedly bowled sides out for astonishingly low totals. He is one of our two specialist fast bowlers.
10. Bvnr (@bvnr410) - The King of Swing - Left Arm Fast Medium
Undisputed king of swing, can swing the bowl with as much accuracy in either direction, King of pace variation too, has the most deadly slower ball to add to his armour. Together with Puneet, they make a fearsome opening bowling combination.
11. Solomon (@Solomon) - The Magician - Right Unorthodox Spin
The peoples favourite, can get the world on his side even if it is not going his way. Good enough to get into any side on bowling merits alone. So good, that the batsman would not be a fool to think his mind is playing tricks on him. Has foxed the best of batsman, even the best of those who are masters against spin.

There have been many new comers recently but this XI is for 2014 main stayers, the guys who have been around for long enough to be considered.
Also despite the set backs of this game, I have to say it has offered countless hours of enjoyable game play, and my love for it still is flourishing as ever, so a big thanks to @BigAntStudios @HBK619 (P.S we hope you add online co-op mode to allow 11 individual players to play in one side)
