Iloveireland was hoping for a good start with the bat. Sadly he didnt get it with FeelingBlue? going out for 1 off 3 balls. It was LBW.
Afridi and Holdenator both went well after that. Even though Afridi was bowled on a no-ball. Afridi was then dropped at silly point. Then 2 balls later Durham finally got him for 44. Jeez he pissed them off.
The run rate was slowing and Holdenator was nervous on 48 so eventually Holdenator plucked up some courage and smahed the spinner for 4 to bring up his fifty.
The Durham players were getting abuse after a few close chances. I think the keeper put him off at the last moment and he edge a good ball to be caught behind for 63.
Zorax was silly today. He went out and tried to smash the bowlers every ball. In the end he only got 9. Still better than some I spose.
Pakcricketer got to 50. Just after that he hit a 6 too. I think he was worried about his spot but can relax now.
After 3 LBW appeals, 4 plays and misses and a catchable shot Morgieb finally fell for about 20. It was a handy innings though and it was one we really needed. The game was pretty much over then though with us needing on 3 runs an over.
We won easily with Pakcricketer ending up on 71*. Iloveireland got MOTM.
Iloveireland was very happy with the boys performance. It had got them 2nd spot on the league table, only behind a team that had played more games them them. He then got ready for his interview.
So Iloveireland congradulations on MOTM.

They are sore losers you know. He'll have his interview with you and make some sorry excuse for losing. Then they'll bag our team or the captain will refuse an interview. Our team is a good young side and the board has decided that next year we will have the same policy. We will buy most of the youths. We may buy 1 or 2 internationals to strengthen the side but we arent sure yet.
So what was the Holdenator incident??
Well he says that their keeper was having a whing and was racial sledging while he was batting. We may prossectute. He called him a monkey.
Well thats just bad cricket, thank you Iloveireland and congradulations.

There are. See the Derbyshire kids dont have the maturity to understand the difference between jokes and sledging. It was clear he was joking. If they are stupid enough to prosectute then they will lose money.

Well Nick, it was a good close match with both sides showing just how good they are. Derbyshire got off to a bad start losing FeelingBlue? early but reserected it and won the match easily. Congradulations Derbyshire and congradulations Iloveireland on a well deserved MOTM.

Look I believe sledging is part of the game, it is. What I dont believe is racial sledging. Its wrong in any circumstances. Calling someone a monkey is a terrible thing to say. Plain terrible.
