It was a tough and tense chase that followed on a slow and tricky wicket that saw Hong Kong lose their Top 3 for cheap while the middle-order too followed, but Akbar Khan alone stood ground to score a steady 35 runs off 36 balls to keep the chase from being completely derailed. In the end, Niaz Ali and Nasrulla Rana finish things off by adding 20 more runs to take Hong Kong straight into the semis- The efforts of Fayyaz Butt and Bilal Khan who took 5 wickets together had to end in vain.

Of all the bowlers in Hong Kong today, Ehsan stood out dismissing two Top-order players for just 16 runs in his complete spell and thus he wins the MOTM. He also scored a four in an innings that lasted 3 balls in the chase, but lesser said about that. Hong Kong still managed to win and qualify as the 4th team.

Our bowlers once again performed admirably, consistently taking wickets throughout the match. We managed to break the partnership on a regular basis, but unfortunately, the target set was too modest. Consequently, Hong Kong was able to chase down the target despite losing wickets. Had we scored more runs, victory would have been easily attainable. Nonetheless, it was an entertaining match to witness. Well played Hong Kong. :clap
