Difficulty Changer?

Hi guys,

Would it be possible for any of you talented editor makers to devise a program which would enable the difficulty level to be changed midway through a match? A kind of saved-game editor.

I suck at batting on hard, but find that the cpu is too easy to bowl out on medium. If I could bowl on hard then bat on medium that would be great.

Not sure how hard this would be to implement?

I highly doubt your request will be filled. My advice would be to simulate the bowling. Also, why are you still batting on medium? Thats ridiculously easy, I find the only way to make batting challenging is to play on hard with all the batsmans stats set below 30. Even then its easy. Honestly playing online or against another human is the only way to go.

Try a little program called Howsdat! which enables you to change the confidence level of any bowler or batter at any point in a game. Look in the downloads section. Maybe not entirely what you are looking for but certainly helps. This is for PC by the way not consoles!

Cheers dutch, although not exactly what I'm looking for Shailesh's Howsdat is excellent and will go someway to achieving what I want.

Hmarka, why not have such a program? There were similar save-game 'tweak' programs made for previous versions of Cricket 05 and Cricket 07. And I guess I'm just not as talented a gamer as you, as I want to bat on medium. I can only but wish...:sarcasm. Probably got something to do with me not playing Ashes 09 for the past couple of months, but giving PES2010 a hammering instead.

From what I have heard its not possible to edit this game in the manner you are suggesting. Either way, I am on console so I cant even use HowsDat!
