Dumb things that Commentators Said

I was listening to Sanjay Manjeraker say something to the effect that Indians are very good players of spin till they are playing Domestic Cricket, but once they start to play for India, they no longer play quality spin (implying that Ranji spinners are better than Int'l spinners) and thus they forget how to play spin and that is why Moenn Ali has been so successful. (Indian batsmen have forgotten how to play spin !!... One second it was there, suddenly poof, its gone).

I heard that and wondered just WTF does that guy smoke. He clearly sparing no expenses and buying top of the line stuff, whatever it is.

Any similar stupid things you remember some commentator saying? There are plenty of examples from many sports that now have a good dossier on commentator gaffes, and feel it would be great for Cricket to start one too. There is no shortage of baboons in the comm boxes around the world.
