omg this is big news...news here in the US sucks so bad...they only care about their own news no international whatsoever.

Thank God my relatives are down south in Chennai....

I got a shock of reading the news when I switched on my TV: 18.000 dead. And it was about 700 when I last read it. :(

And there are still aftershocks coming.

Alot of areas affected normally can only be got to by road but these roads are blocked by debris.

deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy towards all affected. my mother is currently in rawalpindi which is basically islamabad .. and it was the happiest feeling to get a call from pakistan this morning that my family was unaffected. despite the relief of my own family being okay, im being torn apart by seeing the devestation in my country at the moment. i hope people find it in their hearts to help the affected people not only in pakistan, but in india and afghanistan aswell.
