The transfer window has been opened with immediate effect, and will last until the conclusion of the pre-season warm-up matches. Teams willing to do Free Agent trades or trades with other teams may do so during this period.
Transfer window guidelines
- Teams can make as many trades as they wish during this period.
- Local players can only be traded for other local players. Likewise with overseas players, who can only be traded for other overseas players.
- Overseas locals have the same status as local players, which allows them to be traded for other local players. They cannot, however, be traded for other overseas players.
- Players that have retired or otherwise since the conclusion of the previous season must be traded out during the transfer window. The same rules regarding local/overseas player trades apply for retired players as well.
- A trade between two teams can only be put into effect by confirmation from managers of both teams in the league thread.
- Only the players present in the ELA VI player list are valid for selection.
- The current squads of all teams have been updated in the index.
Squad composition
Each squad will contain 13 local players and 5 overseas players, thus totaling 18 players. No more than 2 overseas locals are permitted in a squad.
Players that have retired/otherwise since the conclusion of Season V
Phillip Hughes (Queensland Firebirds) - Died on 27 November 2014. RIP.
Phil Jaques (Sydney Roosers) - Retired from all forms of professional cricket.
