INCREDIBLE HATTRICK FOR MR.RELIABLE

Day 3
Evening Session
239 ao
Attapattu-82
Vass-72*
Jaysuriya-30
Maharoof-23

Lords is stunned in absolute amazement. It's been a cold dreary day in North London. Paul Collingwood has set the place alight. Hattrick ball came from a back of a lenght swinger which got the thinnest of knicks to Jones. The place is alight. The teams wall off the ground seeing something truly amazing.

Lords truly is a magical venue.

Innings analysis from Boycott and Bumble later. With Scorecards of SL 1st Inn

Anyone who is suspicious. I didn't use any cheat balls. This might be one of my biggest avhievements

I feel sorry for Vass, especially him being on 72* and then his partner getting out. WELL DONE ON THE HATRICK! Great story,

Left_Hander

BOYCOTT AND BUMBLE

BOYCOTT- England bowled pretty well in that innings didn't they.

BUMBLE- YES THEY DID!! They now have to bat pretty quickly tomorrow to get themselves a chance of winning because a draw is a distinct possibility.

BOYCOTT- Yes, If I was betting I'd go for the draw.

BUMBLE-I'm sticking with England

BOYCOTT=DRAW BUMBLE=England

SURVIVING ENGLAND!!!

26-0
Stumps-Day 3
Trescothick-17
Strauss-9
England are 116 runs ahead with 10 wickets remaining

Summary: England have done a really good job facing Vass, Murali and Malinga in the last six overs of day 3. Tressie has struck plenty of fours and one six while Strauss has focused on surviving the day. England will want to agress dramatically tomorrow to put them in a winning position.

England Lose First

Day 4
Morning Session
72-1
Trescothick-50*
Strauss-20
Bell-0*
England are 162 runs ahead with 9 wickets remaining

Well when you think the openers are cruising and the score is ticking along Muttiah Muralitharan delivers the delivery of the 'doosra'.Strauss must have thought he could easily slap this ball for six over square leg but it spun away and ripped out Strauss's off stump and England are one down.

Murali the magician

BELL AND TRESSIE GET TO LUNCH

Day 4
Lunch
126-1
Trescothick-67*
Bell-35*

Well this session has been all about fours sixes and the wicket of Strauss which came from a magic delivery from Muttiah Muralitharan. Trescothick has belted along with 67 from 89 deliveries. Bell has got 35 from as many balls. it was only Strauss who hs played anything like an anchor who made 20 off 67 deliveries.

Trescothick in one of his many boundaries during his 67 not out

BELL FAILS AGAIN

Day 4
Afternoon Session
132-2
Trescothick-71*
Bell-37
Pietersen-0*

Ian Bell! The biggest dissapointment in English cricket. When he first came into English Cricket he was fantastic because he slapped a 70 vs the Windies and got centuries against Bangladesh. The Aussies destroyed him and he hs never really got his Bangladesh form back. He walks on 42 today due to Chaminda Vass bowling a beauty of an inswinger which caught the outside edge. Kumar Sangakkara does the rest.

Bell will have to watch out for Vaughan who is getting fitter and Cook who is shining for Essex.

Prepare for fireworks! KP the centurion is in.

Bell needed a big score to keep his place against Cook and Vaughan

PIETERSEN OUT FOR 10

Day 4
Afternoon Session
150-3
Trescothick-79*
Bell-37
Collingwood-0

When Ian Bell got out and Kevin Pietersen walked in their was a huge roar of expectation but the England crowd did not think about Muttiah muralitharan. A range of doosras and offies and topspinners we're flying and KP couldn't cope. He ended up advancing and mistiming a shot straight up into the air and Kumar Sangakkara claimed it.
Hattrick Heroe is in next!!

Pietersen with his ONE boundary during a nervous ten runs

thats unlucky KP was the man to turn it round for England but theres still some hope i really lik this story keep it up mate

What do you mean. Turn it around? England lead by 260

CLASSY CENTURY FROM TRESSIE

Day 4
Afternoon Session
181-3
Trescothick-100*
Collingwood-10*

When England wanted someone to just come in and drive the ball and not rush but play a lot of classy strokes, you'd always pick Trescothick. He has been fantastic at dealing with Murali and has targeted the seamers including a giant six over long on off Farveez Maharoof.

Trescothick with another well deserved ton
