I'm keen.

Have voted for 'pick your own team' as drafts normally drag, but I'm happy with either option.

Ok, the poll has closed and you guys have decided to pick your own teams. Here are the rules when it comes to picking your team:

  • You must pick 1 goalkeeper, and can have a maximum of 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 strikers in your line-up.
  • You are only allowed to have 2 players from one nation in your team.
  • Each round you are allowed to make 2 transfers, a further transfer will cost you 5 points.
  • I will decide the positions of players if any are in doubt (For example: Messi = FW, Simao = MF)
  • Be aware that the competition will run until the final, so select wisely from the teams you expect to last longer.
  • Also, the best players don't always get the best scores so make sure you assess all the factors before picking your line-up.

Could the guys who have already chosen their teams (Matt and Covvy) please re-pick making sure they follow the above rules (Formations can be 5-4-1, 5-3-2, 4-5-1, 3-5-2, 4-4-2, 3-4-3 or 4-3-3)

That's all good. I'm going to say Sneijder is a midfielder so it's 4-4-2, but that makes no difference whatsoever really. Goals, assists, MotM and minutes are what affect both midfielders and forwards. Expect to see the goalkeepers pick up the most points.

I'll count Ribery as MF, but again it makes no difference as 3-4-3 would still be a legible formation.

You can't have Pique, Villa and Silva in your team though. There's a limit of 2 players per nation, just to give things a mix.

EDIT: You've sorted it :)

EDIT: Now you have 3 English players!
