Discussion [FEEDBACK] SimCricketX – What’s the Best Way to Share the Game with You?

Run your run.sh or run.bat to update to latest version 1.2.2.

- Dynamic Pressure System - Ball by ball pressure calculation based on match situation, player ratings, and momentum
- Live Winning Probability - Real-time win probability displayed after every over in 2nd innings
- Death Overs "Boom or Bust" Mode - When chasing impossible targets (win probability <5%) in overs 17-20, teams enter high-risk cricket with dramatically increased boundary attempts AND wicket falls
- Rebalanced pitch matrices to achieve authentic averages: Green/Dry (120-140), Hard (150-180), Flat (170-210), Dead (210+) with regular wicket falls
- Added support features for stats calculations. (Not yet ready to use)

Everyone can make use of this webpage, to understand how the sim works and to plans your ratings accordingly. This should act as a compressive guide. This file lists all the features in the game, dynamics, powerplays, death overs, how player reacts based on their ratings and more..

Looks amazing Manish. Pity you cant release as an exe. My laptop doesn't want to take Python (tried numerous times).

Looking awesome I can try it out

Relese it in Website
Due to the continuous issues related to credentials and other file related storages, Putting the game on a website for free has turned out to be a real headache. The free websites I can use would delete all your saved teams and other data every 5 mins!

Since having a paid server for this passion project isn't feasible, I'm just going to give the game directly to you to run on your own computer just like other simulators. This way, everything you create is saved safely on your own PC.

I need your help picking how you’d prefer to get it. Please vote in the poll!

What's your choice?

  • OPTION 1: The All-in-One (Easy but HUGE download)This is one big download (around 800 MB and 4 GB disk space). You just unzip the folder and click "start." No setup needed, everything is inside.
  • OPTION 2: Python Installation This is a much smaller download. You'd just have to install python and dependencies. Can continue to use simulator as it is.
