Half Time
STK 4.5.29 v WCE 8.10.58

Half time at Etihad Stadium where the West Coast Eagles somehow hold a 29-point advantage over the struggling Saints. The Eagles again dominated the quarter, kicking 4.6 to 2.1.

Justin Koschitzke got the Saints off to a flier in the opening minute, booting a forty metre goal from a set shot. Brendon Goddard joined in 4 minutes later with his first major and the Saints looked ready to steam over the Eagles.

But West Coast responded, and in remarkable fashion, with Waters, Ebert, Masten and Naitanui kicking consecutive goals to give West Coast a 5 goal lead and the major break.

West Coast should be even further in front, but have missed extremely easy set shots in front of goal, some as close as 15 metres out.

Goals (STK): Koschitzke 2, Milne, Goddard
Top 3 Disposals (STK): Gram (15), Milne (14), Fisher (14)
Gone Cold (STK) Hayes (0), Gilbert (1), Armitage (1)

Goals (WCE): McKinley 2, Waters, Lynch, Naitanui, Ebert, Masten, Kennedy
Top 3 Disposals (WCE): Stenglien (18), Waters (16), Priddis (13)
Gone Cold (WCE): Brown (1)

Saint Kilda 4.5.29
West Coast Eagles 8.10.58

Three Quarter Time
STK 6.7.43 v WCE 10.13.73

Etihad stadium witnessed a much tighter third quarter there between the Saints the Eagles, but the Eagles have stretched the margin to an even 30 points at the main break.

Riewoldt started St Kilda off with a brilliant goal from a set shot on the boundary, before West Coast caoch Jesse McLure threw young defender Eric Mackenzie into the forward line. It worked as a masterstroke, and Mackenzie goaled twice within a minute and a half.

Adam Shneider pegged one back late for the Saints, but a 30 point buffer could prove too much at this late stage.

Goals (STK): Koschitzke 2, Goddard, Milne, Riewoldt, Shneider
Top 3 Disposals (STK): Fisher (25), Gram (23), Milne (21)
Gone Cold (STK) Gilbert (1), Hayes (3), Gilbert (4)

Goals (WCE): McKinley, Mackenzie 2. Ebert, Lynch, Masten, Kennedy, Waters, Naitanui
Top 3 Disposals (WCE): Waters (22), Stenglien (22), Adam Selwood (18)
Gone Cold (WCE): N/A

I did notice how interesting it was that there were the same number of injuries as reports, now I know why ahaha.

Bulldogs to have a win, too good of a side, even though their 11th. Should be a good match, considering how well the Eagles are going.

Quarter Time

The omens were bad for the Bulldogs early on with Daniel Giansiracusa getting injured in the opening seconds. It is presumed he will take no further part in rhe game. The Doggies didn't lose heart however, and manage to dominate most of the quarter.

Jarrod Harbrow opened the goal scoring at the 12 minute mark with an excellent solo goal running up the corridor, but Eagle Quinten Lynch replied for West Coast with a mark and goal from 60 metres out.

The Dogs kicked the next two however, through Robert Murphy and Will Minson to give the Dogs the quarter time lead.

Goals (WCE): Lynch
Top 3 Disposals (WCE): Rosa (10), Embley (7), Kerr (7)
Gone Cold (WCE): Adam Hunter (0), Tom Swift (0)

Goals (WB): Murphy, Harbrow, Minson
Top 3 Disposals (WB): Griffen (11), Harbrow (9), Gilbee (9)
Gone Cold (WB): Hargrave (0), Addison (0), Everrit (0)
