I never said that the shiny players effect the game. I'm still gonna buy it. The players are just shiny. That's all I said.

So what would you rather? PES which has outdated graphics or people that are shiny? Are you sure you arent just looking at their heads as people with bald heads have a shiny head like Gravesen.

So what if that's what they look like? It isn't going to affect the game for you is it when you only see it on close-up cutscenes and zoomed in replays.

About the PES comments, it's natural to be comparing the games as they are both football games, and I can't see anything that PES has over FIFA this year...

Also, I am telling you again, I will 100% not buy PES 09, guaranteed. I didn't buy 08 and I am not buying 09... Too arcadey and unrealistic for me.

Nope, I'm not getting PES this year, I've already got ?30 earmarked for Fifa 09 PC (actually, call it ?20, because I'll get it from gameplay.co.uk, where I've got a ?5 discount waiting to be used.)

He never said Fifa was that good he said it has its problems but compared to PES which is a rushed hulk of thrash with very bad graphics and limbs going through limbs etc. Fifa has gone through evolution, PES has gone through devolution(if thats even a word).

I think they signed 4 or 5 year contracts with EA, so it will probably be them next year too...

Thanks for that, I've wanted that cleared up for a while.

I know it doesn't really matter, but that's a rubbish cover compared to the PS3 one! Let's hope the game doesn't follow suit...

Yeah I saw that on IGN I think the other day. It's the American version, so nothing to worry about. The UK versions will all have the same boxart, be it the PS3/X360/PC.

Hence the term 'soccer' on it as well.
