Have Australia dodged a bullet with NZ's success, or do they face an even slipperier foe? New Zealand may be depleted, but they have played with great temperament to get to the final. However, Australia can't be expected to make the same skill errors as Pakistan and the fresh surface that has been rolled out at Centurion doesn't appear to be set for a low scoring match. New Zealand are renowned scrappers and trans-Tasman rivalry always counts for something, but could the Aussies' current form be just too good?

Hmm. I reckon the Aussies wil overcome the Kiwis. They look a far better team on paper and have been on a role of late.

I hope, Watto dont go for early lofted shots. We can rip through the entire lineups in no time but we have always struggled to get the tails. I just hope, we do not make any errors this time.

Australia will win but New Zealand have a slight chance provided Vettori will be fit to play.

Because this tourny has been so unpredictable to this point, I'm gonna go with NZ, because all the odds are with Australia right now.

I want NZ to win, but it's just gonna be too difficult given the form that Ponting and co. are in. But again, not many people gave them a chance against Pakistan, so who knows...

this the 2nd time NZs are on final(?)

they been on semis 9 times?

Every ICC final NZ have been in they have won. :)

I think if we can make inrodes into their batting early on we will have a very good change. Having Bond back is a huge advantage for us, as at the 2003 WC in SA he ripped apart one of the best Aussie line ups we have seen.

Our top order just has too stand up this time and not rely on Vettori.
I'd like to see Broom dropped for Styris although it probably won't happen. You heard the commentators against PAK saying their was no batting below Vettori which just again shows how Broom is not near INT standard. Why would you pick a specialist batsmen who is not good enough to bat in the top 6 I will never know.

I'm going NZ on the fact that we often lift against Aussie and I want to back the boys. :)

I'd prefer Diamanti in for him tbh. Poor guy's been the replacement allrounder and they pull Franklin out of a match in England to replace Oram. Have the piece of ████ that is known as Gareth Hopkins in instead of him followed by flying Scott Styris over who hasn't played an international match for quite some time. Simon Doull was right, he's just there to bring out the water to thristy batsmen.

Styris can't play unless we replace him with someone that is injured.

Should be a good match with the Kiwis, haven't played them in a while so its a refreshing change from playing England and Pakistan.

I can now go to Collage without have to think about the final now:D.
but I want New Zealand to win!!

If I were a betting man, I might be tempted to have a punt of the Kiwis. Failing that I might just do a nice collage of the whole thing. Haven't done a collage in ages, it's a lost art these days!

Australia are obviously favorites and rightly so. But remember back to some Chappell Hadlee series and we've pulled some pretty big upsets. Plus we have our Australia destroyer Shane Bond back (I hope he keeps his amazing record up)

I'm just glad we made the final. If we can get early wickets and get into Australia's middle order quickly we might have a chance.

The biggest worry I have is the 3 pacemen, Lee, Johnson and Siddle. Our batters don't face that kind of pace and aggression often so I hope they're up for it.

I'm a little worried about this game to be honest. New Zealand have a good track record against us. Anyway, it should be a good game with the traditional rivarly between the two sides.
