Hey, so I wanted to give modding a try and I've got the sponsorships down okay, at least when it comes to chest and arms I haven't tried ones across the stomach, but I'm having a little trouble with the kits. I don't have any real understanding of what I am doing I'm just winging my way by looking at the template, positioning the image and seeing how it looks in game then fixing it. I've positioned it but now the colouring is not right as you can see by the images I'm uploading. The pants colour doesn't match and the fern is adjusted by different colour options and not just the one.

Should I be creating layers in PS and if so should I be making some kind of RGB adjustments? Should I have the PS image being in transparent mode or a solid colour background? Any help or tip is appreciated. I do plan on sharing anything I make, as long as it looks alright.

This video on YouTube taught me much of what I know about modding and I would recommend it to anybody who is learning

I'm far from an expert when it comes to modding and photoshop so correct me if I am wrong here but it looks like the shirt colour is not the same colour as the pants colour in their respective .dds files (by memory, I think that the primary colour is red). As for the fern, I have a feeling it has something to do with the colour it is painted in the .dds file. I always ensure that my layers are merged in photoshop.

Are you able to take a screenshot of your shirt opened in photoshop and post it here? Then I or one of the others can see how you've done it and compare it with how we do ours. That should help work out what is going wrong here.

Looking forward to seeing some awesome new kits up here soon!
