Looks like we should be right for defenders now.
Just need to get a few more rego's in. The only problem now is the overflow of keepers. If you've signed up as a keeper you can choose to play another possie or be prepared to see a lot of the bench and reserves.

I think so, but im not 100% sure. The game may not allow a GK to play in the outfield. I have never tried it so it might, it might not.
I just wanted to know if worst comes to worst if i could change your first priority position. I'm pretty sure that if GK is a 2nd or 3rd position then you can play in outfield and in the goals.

I suppose so, i would like a few more players though.
I need to fill up a youth team as well. But i can always just make a few guys up for that. I'll prolly just add my school friends.

I'll be starting it tomorrow then, so i'll leave it open untill then (about 12 hours time). I'm still working out a fair way to do the potential ability as well.

What i mean is i will start making the team in 12 hours (i need about 4 hours to do it because of my slow computer and the large game data ), i will also put up polls for team name and league, etc..
The days i can usually play are Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and maybe Monday.
If we are lucky i will play a match by late sunday or monday, but i wouldn't get your hopes up. Should definantley be done by Wednesday.

I've still got a dilemma here about the potential ability.
Potential Ability is out of 200. I am unsure wether to just randomly generate everyone's between about 150 and 190 or wether to make it change according to a persons rep and posts. Or use some kind of formula. I had a formula but it is to complicated, i'm hoping i can use an easier way. Tell me what you guys think.

Rep + post (+posts per day? ) sounds good. Too bad I'm not on any of the forums with my 5,000+ posts .

If you have a formula then u should go right ahead and use it.

It will take a while for the stats so u should take your time .

i say do a post per day thing as some people haven't been on PC for a long time like me.

so say 1-5 posts per day = whatever and so on.

Ok, i'll do a formula which incorporates rep and post count, but is still mostly random. Age will probbaly be a factor also.

For example a young player with a good rep and decent posts per day could get an ability range of 170-190. An older player with low post count might get 140-190, etc...

I'll still try to keep it pretty random.

Also remember a younger player will have a lower current ability which means they will take longer to establish themselves into the first team.

I hope i haven't just posted a load of rubbish, lol. I'll start working on the formula now before i go to bed.
